Children of God, some mistakes in life can never be corected, rather it can be managed. Life without God is like a blind man without a guide. Have u ever seen a blind man confortably living alone, going to market, running a business etc without a helper, that is how you as a child of God whenever you throw God by the corner and do things yourself without involving him.
The choices you make will either make you or mar you. How do you feel as a parent when your ten years old wakes up suddenly to tell you, mother or father, despite you feed me, take care of me and clothe me, i will start taking decisions of my life myself, i don't need your input anymore.
Won't that be madness and also funny to you, because you know that he/she is just a child and will make so many bad choices. This is exactly how God feels when we do things without his help.
No matter your age, affluence, qualifications and exposure. You can still make loads of mistakes. But with God being your eyes, ears and Mouth. You will never fall into the ocean of regret.
In life, their are three spiritual gates that the enemy can use to destroy us. They are:
The eyes
The ears and the mouth
In decision making, what you see with your eyes can either convince or confuse you. What you hear can mislead or disorganize you, what you speak or spoken to can build or destroy you.
The fact remains that you need God. That thing you feel that you know well can humiliate you.
Allow Jesus to be a part of you. Normalize involving him in all you do.
Any man that puts God first in all things will always be first and can never come last. God can not be mocked Jesus will forever remain lord, whether you acknowledge him or not.
A lot of us only acknowledge God for the material matters in life.

ReplyDeleteAs a husband, when you keep malice with your wife and ignore her, deprive her of her conjugal rights, reject her food and stop spending time at home or giving her companionship, you are not punishing your wife. You are actually teaching her independence. You are training her to be able to live without you. And if you keep doing this over time, one day, she will graduate from your school, and you will cease to have meaning in her life. Don't forget that as you age, you will need her more than she needs you. And her children are likelier to support her than you. So, instead of teaching her to live without you, talk to her when she offends you and work things out, it's a thoughtful lesson for all men in the house to learn especially those with great minds, Food for thought.

DeleteSo yesterday after reading the post of that little boy that choked to death, I got home at night and opened YouTube to learn about Heimlich maneuver to save a choking person. As I opened the video my daughter told me that she already knew it, she now proceeded to demonstrate it for me. Said they taught them in school since last year in Health Education or so. She said they taught them CPR and some other things too.

Yesterday night I was hungry, I couldn't cook, so I had to hide like thief to sip one of my daughter's caprisonne and one biscuit 😂 , I come dey wonder why am I stealing something that na me use my money buy? But I can't drink it in her presence I had to hide cos I don't want to share 😞
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a day I fasted and I bought rice and chicken to break the fast cos no power to cook, I had to hide to eat the food but unfortunately as I was rushing I mistakenly swallowed bone, the matter come turned to the matter we are hiding from Baba, na Baba still settle am 😂
You hide eat rice and chicken because of your daughter? Why na? Patapata you will give her one or two spoons of rice and a tiny piece of chicken. Nawa for you

ReplyDeleteThat story of the child that died in Abuja school last week brought a sad memory of what happened to my Brother's friend in Ondo eight years ago. The mum ate meat halfway the one Yoruba people call 'Isan' and covered it on the dining table. The daughter came back from school, and met nobody at home, she tried to swallow the isan and it got stucked in her throat, a ten year old girl, very bright girl ☹️
She tried to call for help but no one was home, by the time her mum got back, she couldn't talk, she managed to write it down on a piece of paper that she swallowed meat, such a brave girl, though she was in excruciating pain, they rushed her to the hospital but she died at the gate of the hospital ☹️☹️☹️
The whole street was silent that day, I made up my mind, I will never give meat to my children to take to school, I always boil egg, when I give them fish, I ensure I remove the bones, I always cut their meat very small like Maggi, it is well
