ReplyDeleteMy opinion may not be popular but majority of Nigerian music is noise. If you know music, what the new cats in Nigeria are churning out don't come close. Music should touch your soul.
Chike, Praise, Asa, MI, Tiwa do great in music that permeates your being. Not everything has to be street. What is music if it doesn't speak?
What you mean music should touch your soul? There is a time for soul touching music and then there is a time for dance music, then there is a time for wild music, sometime with voices other times with instruments and beats. Please, sometimes I want a gourmet meal other times I just want a greasy burger with fries. Different needs at different times but all lead to the same enjoyment in the end.
