The Africa woman I am, would have shouted then asked them why pay 50k for watermelon. And why is Nigeria Customs allowing things we grow locally into Nigeria? This heavy dependence on foreign goods is killing businesses, let's promote our local produce.

Something wey plenty for zuba market
50k in top genetically modified watermelon? na wah!!!
ReplyDeleteI follow you shout ahhhh. There is one store that sells pizza that sells their soda at 1350. Something that we are selling 350 per bottle. Yet people are buying it at that price.
ReplyDeleteThe manager was gisting me and she said a customer asked her sarcastically where the imported the drink from.
Something they are mixing somewhere in TA here.
Business strategy, I guess.
You will be shocked what ppl will pay for just to say they shop at a place. That's why businesses will mostly succeed, there will always be someone to pay any price.
DeleteMust be one of the yellow watermelons, because I don't understand it. No imported watermelon is going to be sweeter than a local watermelon. The pregnant woman who was wondering if 50k is enough from her abroad husband, na watermelon money.
ReplyDeleteImported watermelon? Nothing wey musa no go see for gate
