Late Singer Mohbad's Wife Wunmi Makes U Turn And Says She Will NEVER Do A DNA Test

Wunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad has made a U-turn on her decision to allow a DNA test to be conducted on their son, Liam

Some Nigerians, including her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, have been clamouring for a DNA test to be conducted on Liam to ascertain his true paternity following the tragic death of the rapper.

In a recent turn of events, Wunmi, who had previously expressed her willingness for a DNA test on her son, said she is no longer open to a DNA test on Liam.
Speaking in an audio message making the rounds on X, Wunmi said only her late husband has the right to request a DNA test from her.

She claimed that Mohbad disvirgined her and he is the only man she has ever known.
Wunmi said: “Mohbad disvirgined me; nobody has the right to tell me to do a DNA test. I have never slept with any man except him. I will never do any DNA; no one can tell me to do DNA except I wish to. Koni daa fun gbogbo yin ranting about DNA.”

  1. You are joking. That DNA, you must do it.
It is our business because we want justice for Mobhad.
You called out your father Inlaw several times saying he didn’t want to do the needful to get the DNA done, so who do you think you are fooling?

    Sluttychic.

    1. There is something fishy about all these and it points down to the fact that she is scared of doing the DNA cos the result mite be shocking....
look at the way she insulted everyone.
This matter she brought it to the internet screaming they have killed her husband, the narrative is changing and we need to know that the child is Mohbads.

    1. She did a private DNA test and the result is NEGATIVE. That's why she changed her strategy and turned it to some kinda witch-hunt.

    2. Your allegation is unintelligent. Where did she get the biological sample for the father who's body is in a morgue? Nigeria really wasted a lot of resources educating many people who are now lying against the government for their current condition.

    3. An old comb with 10 strands of hair with roots or any possession of his has enough sample for DNA test… they lived together

    1. There is no skeleton. The young lady is just tired; mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

We really should leave them alone. I hope she has good people around her.

    2. Leave them alone how? They started the justice for Imole and now they want everything to be swept under the carpet? No way, she has to do it if she's innocent.

Apparently, she does not. Or at least, a very influential of her influencers is not.

One, they would have advised her against a rant like this.

Two, her first case of doing DNA testing abroad is characteristic of such person(s). Same defence has been raised before and rejected by the Nigerian Court of Appeal.

Rules of social media limits full comments jare.

Here is why it is not advisable to jump on all social media crusades.

    2. If her hand is clean let her do the DNA, this has become a national concern, if she's clean she would have got it done long before now

    3. Is it not right to go ahead and do the DNA? Since the husband is late, the family has absolute right to demand a DNA to ascertain if the said child is theirs.
That he was the one that deflowered, does not necessarily translate to the child in question being his. Except the pregnancy came as a result of that episode, which in fact should be a good reason to laugh at all those questioning the true paternity of her child. What better to shut everyone up loudly?

  15. I am no longer in support of Wunmi, however if the DNA is eventually done, and it reveals that Liam isnt Mohbads biological son, it doesnt also automatically mean that his estate goes to that stupid father of his who has now pierced his ears at almost 60 and is claiming to be an artiste.

Both of them should get lost abeg.

  17. If she decides not to do the DNA test, no body can force her. The only person that has the power to do so is the husband and unfortunately he's dead. Even if the child is not for the husband, what will people make out of it ? Mobad accepted the child before death. Some of you glamouring for DNA test are not even clean enough.People should learn to mind their business.

    4. But darling the family can. After all, he is their grandson. And if there's a reason to suspect that the child isn't biologically their's, it will be subjected to a legal request for that to be done.

Families demands these things every time, especially where there's a bounty to be shared.

    1. Na you day find job for graduate yet you are reasoning with your primary 3 level of understanding. Was the child's father in doubt when the dead victim was thrown in a ditch and everyone went home? Now that there is hope of earning from his death, both useless parents are demanding a slice of cake at the expense of a child that can barely talk.

Did his wife take him to a nurse for injection? Did she cause an anaphylactic reaction? Did she beat or bully him while alive? Did the dead man question his child's paternity?

People looking for mercy and breakthrough gathering to shave the head of a young widow in public.

What in the world has she to prove to you or the greedy parents who didn't make plans for their future?

  24. Mohbad was hustling to provide for himself and his family.but the parents though Mohbad was in money. They left him for wolf and lion to devour. Nobody really fought for that boy to stay alive., some of his friends are actually his frenemies. He was not supposed to marry at that age , his mother supposed to have kick against it. His parents lack of cooperation give the enemies to have the upper hand. They were ust dating jejely when the useless father says they should give him a grandchild .It was the drug baron that was after his life not cult related issue bcos the " Street always protect their own". ( The real truth will never come out) Reason why Wunmi is scared to speak out.
