Lady Who Testified To Having 'BSc Law Degree' Begs Nigerians For Money To Sustain New 'Celebrity' Status

#fakelifealert
In a significant turn of events, Vera Anyim, lady who became famous through controversy that trailed her recent BSc law degree testimony at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, has reached out to Nigerians for support in finding secure accommodation.

Anyim made the appeal in a viral video that surfaced on the internet on Thursday.
Anyim’s testimony, initially questioned by the church’s Senior Pastor, Paul Enenche, sparked widespread debate online.
Enenche interrupted and questioned the credibility of Anyim’s testimony at his church.
Anyim, who claimed to have graduated with a “BSc in Law” from the National Open University of Nigeria, was accused of lying by the senior pastor.
According to Enenche, her speech did not align with that of a law graduate and insisted that no such degree as a “BSc in Law” existed.

The debate garnered a lot of reactions on social media when it was discovered that the testimony was genuine, with some calling on Enenche to apologise for his actions, while others defended his stance.
The church had in a statement, apologised to Anyim stating that the Senior Pastor’s actions were driven by a dedication to maintaining standards of excellence and integrity within the church community.

Anyim who recently returned from a sponsored vacation to a resort in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and is now seeking assistance from Nigerians to secure new accommodation.
She said, “I want to say to Nigerians, you know this thing that happened is a thing of joy, I never dreamed of it, it came this moment, I never dream of being a celebrity.
“It just came all of a sudden. I never prepared for it. I want to use this medium to urge us to assist me with accommodation because I am not buoyant now to rent a house.

“Where I am staying now is risky and insecure. It is a very open place and everybody has already known I am a celebrity.
“When I left Abuja, some people in my compound didn’t know what was happening, but I was there, and so many of them have heard what was going on.
“Some have said they are waiting for me. My brother, who stays with me, told me that people gathered, all waiting for me.”

Anyim expressed concern that people might misunderstand the situation and assume she received a large sum of money during her time in Port Harcourt
“That is why I am voicing out, asking for assistance to enable me to get a place I can stay so that my life can be safe. As I’m talking to you, I’m just hiding myself so that people will not come and misbehave at my side.
“So, please, if there is any way you can help me for me to get accommodation where I can be secured as a human being, intelligent people know what I am talking about.
“I don’t need to move or stay anyhow. If you don’t mind, you can assist me. Nothing is too small,” she pleaded.

  10. The audacity to request fund to rent an apartment befitting of a supposed celeb status!!! Heck!!!🤦🤦🤦

Nigerians, una do this one!!! Whoever told her that she is now a celeb simply because Nigerians decided to fight for her, seeing that she was being 'bullied' by her pastor.

To worsen matters, she now have a 'team'!!! Ikwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwa 🤣🤣🤣🤣 very laughable 🙄🙄🙄

    1. "she now have a 'team'!!!"

This person will say "I am a graduate" and even make fun of their collegue who is begging for "rent money"

Its seems someone sprinkled something in the air over Nigeria that scrambled their brains and is causing this *have* or *has* confusion.

This is like Folie a Deux in real life.

Isnt it in primary school they teach singular and plural usage in English?

      What is happening for godsake?

    2. In fact, that "have" and "ĥas" thing is irritating to me. It's as if
many people skipped "present tense, past tense and present continous" assignments in primary school. I don't think it's too late to brush up on it though.

  18. I tot someone far her a huge amount of money 💰 from abroad..
I also heard some rich guys have carried her matter like gala.

    Hmmmm!!!

  19. What of the pastor that made her celebrity over night? Why didn't she ask him for money? This woman is not serious Cha Cha.

  20. It's her audacity for me❗ people will surely contribute for her abi no be this 9ja wey we dey? Anything flies here

    ReplyDelete
  21. I truly can believe this. The audacity. I don't blame her. Nigerians that contribute to any useless thing like the lady who woke up at 4 am to cook for her husband or the bbn participants. She wants to reap where she didn't sow. Celebrity indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Whoever adviced her to do that messed her up big time. The person no try at all. Instead of her to use her 5 minutes fame and look for content to create to catch people's attention and then monetize to make money to rent house befitting a "celebrity".

    ReplyDelete
  23. She is audacious. For her mind now, she is now a celebrity. This is what happen when trivial issues become hot topic. Let those that felt her embarrassment contribute money for her.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Celebrity for where 🤣🤣🤣
    I don't blame you madam

  25. Why are you all commenters so bitter, she made a valid point about her safety. We all know Nigeria is unsafe, is it not better to speak out than to die in silence. Hypocrites!!! Help her if you want to or leave her for those that want to help her. It’s not as if your president is doing well with the economy. Mschew

    2. Thank you
We know Nigeria and we know she’s right about her safety
People will think the pastor settled her. Which he should anyway

      Delete
    3. Why should he? He has apologized and that's it. Why do we like to reward mediocrity in this country? She is now a celebrity? Someone that should go and use this opportunity to work on her self and come out better. Nonsense

      Delete
  26. I think she has a legitimate concern regarding her safety, particularly in light of the uptick in kidnappings and armed robberies. However, this blunt approach may not have been the best one.

    Taa gbafuo..

  28. Good for Nigerians for endorsing mediocrity. All those who said the pastor should apologize to her for calling her out should contribute money for her new accommodation. Imagine if this woman studied medicine and is already working in a hospital, this is how we have quacks and people dying for negligence. For the Pastor to insist that her speech does not align with someone who studied law and for her not to know the class of degree she graduated with says a lot but as usual, Nigerians will always make an irrelevant issue relevant. Always clamoring for the wrong and minor things.

Everyone who supported her, gave her this audacity. Don't change mouth now and say she has the guts, you gave it to her. The pastor should be somewhere laughing by now. We're our own problem, someone that should be questioned and the school investigated, is going on vacation .

    1. Thanks for this. People don’t take things serious in this country, they always apply sentiments. Are you even sure she learnt anything from that school, but here we are celebrating her because of what was said to her. The pastor approach might be wrong but the way Nigerians carried the mater as if they want to pepper someone. They should sha continue.

    2. Hmmmm. I don't see anything wrong in people being against what they feel is wrong. I really felt bad for her when I watched the video. It doesn't mean that now anyone can force me to contribute to her. She is responding based on her understanding of the situation and whoever advised her. So anyone who wants to help her is free to do so. No be by force. But to be castigating people for their natural response to something that went viral I think, isn't right.

    3. She graduated. The pastor was wrong
Even the English he quarreled is not much different than his own so what are we saying

This one for don kill people tire if she had studied medicine.
Those supporting her should contribute for her. Celebrity indeed.

    6. At first, I wasn't happy with what d pastor did, but after watching the video of her soliciting for a better accomodation, her spoken English doesn't show she's a lawyer. Her certificate needs to be investigated. This lady still couldn't express herself well... I feel like Nigerians owe dunamis pastor an apology. lol

    7. Not everyone is going to be articulate. Her strength may be elsewhere. Schools are ranked just as individual students are ranked, that’s why excellent students will get wooed with scholarships to study at certain schools. Not all students are created the same.

Putting ppl down because of their capacity is always distasteful. She worked to better herself through education and that will always be commendable. Even if she graduated last in her class that does not make her accomplishment any less worthy. To all the C and D students do not give up on your dreams. Graduating with a third class is still graduating. Keep pushing yourselves no matter the naysayers and obstacles in your way.

  30. Not your fault, sabi she said her spiritual father has settled with her. She should go beg him to rent a house for her , than disturbing us who didn't make her celebrity.

Instead of her to start an online business to make money she is asking for money, come collect.

He was strongly criticized for Ekwuemes death which he said was not his fault and that he was no aware of the dv in the home
Being falsely accused is tough and we should take no part in it. When we fall short, we should apologize without reservation. This you made me do it apology he gave was not right

  34. This one is not serious at all. Instead to beg for work , you are begging for accomodation. What happens when the house rents expired, Nigerian mentality.
