Cross Dresser Idirs Okuneye Reportedly Tells Judge ''I Am A Man''

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, a.k.a Bobrisky admitted to being a male during his trial at the Federal High Court in Lagos State, on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced him to six months imprisonment without the option of a fine for abusing the naira.
Before the sentence, when the judge asked, “Are you a man or a woman?” Bobrisky responded, “I am a man.”

Awogboro said the judgment would be a deterrent to others who are found abusing and mutilating the naira.
The judge ruled that the jail term commenced on March 24, 2024, the day of his arrest.

    1. If you know what goes on in those prisons, you will understand why someone who publicly says has transitioned to womanhood in suddenly claiming to be a man.

Bob is going on a holiday, I pray he doesnt catch HIV though.

  4. Where Bob dey drag bag go now? Chaii, Lawyers in the house, shouldn't this offense carry an option of him paying fine in place of jail term? I feel like this offense is not serious enough to warrant jail term with no option of fine.

    1. Even if an offense carries an option of Fine,it is still at the discretion of the Judge whether to give him that option. And like the Judge said in his sentence, they want this to serve as a deterrent to others. How will the Fine of 50k serve as a deterrent to anybody? The other socialite that was allowed tod pay a Fine as against serving a jail term, did that feter people like Bob from committi g same offense? Infact, the Judge can ask you to pay a hefty fine and still serve your jail term.

    3. Exactly. I saw on someone's status that according to the law, he was supposed to be sentenced to 6months in jail or pay a 50k fine or both. I really don't get the motive behind the utmost punishment at all.

  8. Like play when he comes out, he will be coming out as an ex-convict. That's a pretty rough patch for anyone to be in.
But that said, I saw a video of him leaving the court for the prison and it was female warders accompanying him. And he wasn't even cuffed. Not that they needed to anyways. The drugs he has been taking to suppress testosterone also leads to less firm muscles.

His conduct is very much reprehensible and it appeared the system was waiting for him to trip up and he did.

  21. His sex or gender has absolutely nothing to do with stepping on Naira notes. Nigeria is populated with too many godless hypocrites who cheer on the abuse of power that will still consume them.

The documentation before the judge is crystal clear about his sex and gender but even those trained formally seize the opportunity to act like an illiterate village head. Textbook example of the pedagogy of the oppressed.

Who asked the CNN reporter for his sex or gender when he visited Nigeria? Rather the confusion that befell the nation was over jollof rice. How many have gone to ask Ru Paul his gender after enjoying him on the internet? Kiekie his colleague said she spends 20 million per month on her hair Bob is being accused of money laundering within Nigeria for doing the same job. Your own concern is how to beg for money from them instead of bettering yourself and offering a useful service they can pay for.

The Nigeria you say happens to you is something you yourself create the way you wish evil on others.

This is why your religion is without power and your humanity rings hollow. Your loveless "crucify him" lives bring you the same reproach you advance others. You will still complain about the same EFCC, police and judiciary who you are pleased with as instruments of torture but you've not asked yourself about the reason your own life has refused to improve since Idris was exposed as stuffing his chest with sachet water years ago.

They did worse to Kenny Brandmuse. They did worse to Alimi. They did worse to many before them but God proved that he is not man. You may have a poor attitude but God loves all of us. Only good and better will come out of this for you, Idris and God will help you with wisdom going forward. You've fought the battle of being different in a hateful clime the way you thought was best. David pretended to be insane, Gideon hid, Moses committed murder, Abraham denied his wife, Jacob stole but still, God came through and made the path in the wilderness for them. God will grant you and yours peace and the mindset to receive it. Learn the lessons that have been pursuing you for years and be grateful for the life you've been given and your eccentricities. Abandon the worship of money and embrace purpose. God will continue to be with you.

    Ire o.

    2. This was a judicial proceeding.
You have not faulted any step in it.
He was not tried on his lifestyle.
He was tried on a statutory offence.
The person in the centre of it admitted to be guilty to the charge against him.
The charge sheet against him did not disclose his gender.
His gender is necessary for documentation of his imprisonment.
And it is better the gender be stated by him in the dock and as a part of the proceedings to avoid any confusion or counter-says later.
The sentence imposed is one of three the Judge is permitted to impose under the Law.
Many of us may have committed the same offence.
Now we know the risk involved in continuing in that behaviour.
That is the official purpose of the trial and the officially stated reason for the sentence.
      Every other insinuation is speculation.
Even the police is reported to have stated that it has no law to act on against cross dressers, but clarified that there are laws against some acts.
Every society must be by law. That is why nobody has a better right to a phone or laptop better than its owner. If all is taken because forgiveness is ahead, there will no blog existing for free comments.
Mr. Idris was not tried, convicted and sentenced on a lifestyle offence.
He was used to teach all Nigerians a lesson.
The duty of Nigerians now is to always call the attention of the law enforcement agencies with credible proof, to subsequent breakers of the law on which Mr. Idris was convicted.
The whistle blowers may also choose to tag the law breakers on their calls.
Even the societies that says NO to laws against their chosen lifestyle and may choose to elevate Mr. Idris, have laws saying NO to other peoples lifestyles they do not want.
      Who is fulling who?

    3. Al Capone was gotten for taxes, Idris for stepping on notes. Lumumba, Entebe, Ifejeuna, Sankara were all gotten for something and the government busy bodies are trying to elevate a .com clown to that level. 🤦🏾🤷🏾‍♀️

Note that the markets have not been raided or fenced in due to the daily abuse that decolours and stains the notes everyday. None of Emefiele's charges include printing notes with dye that runs and stains clothes in other words, defaced from the mint but Idris is the new face of naira defacing and Nigerians were too daft to know this law until a sectional figure on the Internet was convicted for it. Okay. Be playing. These same legal technicalities exist for those supporting this legal bullying as well. We'll all speculate when the tables turn.

Obasanjo was the one who pushed and signed this law but at his own son's wedding, he was spraying and being sprayed with some of the money even entering his mouth. He is known all across Nigeria and would pass a great message across but it has got to be the only guy who wears a bra and pads his behind?

No one is faulting the technicality of this hate. The hate is what is being pointed out.
