Mothering Sunday is a day honouring mother churches, the church where one is baptised and becomes "a child of the church", celebrated since the Middle Ages in the United Kingdom, Ireland and some Commonwealth countries on the fourth Sunday in Lent. Happy Mothering Sunday! I lost my parents as a child, to cope with the grief I felt during Fathering Sunday and Mothering Sunday, I had to pray to God to numb my emotions. It's been over 20 years and I'm still emotionless about these celebrations. My kids are the ones who remind me. They say time heals, hmmm.
