Singer Wizkid posted a series of posts on his insta-stories and warned the public that his latest released album "Morayo" is not for Afrobeats lovers, including his fans of 2011 hit song, 'Pakurumo'.
He asked his fans to desist from referring to him as an Afrobeat artiste.
According to him:
"Album name 'Morayo' best beat I ever made. I am not an Afrobeats artiste. Don't call me that.
If you like Afrobeats, please don't download my album, I'm not Afro anything.
And please if you like 'Pakurumo' Wizkid, don't like this album. In fact, delete me from your playlist and life".
The 'Joro' Singer also warned bloggers and media outlets not to publicize his new album when it drops.
The reason for his outburst is unknown.
