  4. I wouldn't advice anyone to use the book. Is the language well developed to delve into this project? Please I'm Igbo and from a lineage of Igbo scholars.

    3. Why would you give such an advice? Even if the book is not the main text it could be used as supplemental material.

    6. Don't knock it till you try it, poster. African languages are so ancient and well developed that the question makes no sense. The way of furthering the register and lexicon of a language is by adding to the literature just as this man has done. In school, I had to learn medical Latin and some greek. Both are local languages in which the health sciences were written and they all borrowed and added to each other to make up the medical register and lexicon which is today, largely in English.

Italian, Hungarian, Hebrew, Slovakian, Ukrainian, Norwegian, Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, German are other local languages in which people study science, arts and humanities so what is limiting in African languages is simply the low self esteem people like you still need to divorce yourself from. The similarities between related languages goes to show the inter borrowing as there is no complete human language.

Teejay and other wannabe gatekeepers, Not everyone will think the same even if they are of the same ethnic nationality. There are those who see your defense of terrorism in Igboland as ample evidence to question and dismiss your being Igbo, decent or sensible but despite that, have chosen to temper your error with maturity. You should borrow from such civility. This poster's reasoning is not unlike how a family of black Africans will gather together to name a child Abdulrahman, Giovanni, Zaquisha or Jayden. It's still the inferiority complex that many still need to save themselves from.

There is strong neurobiological proof about the link of ones native language and understanding of concepts as well as the understanding of other languages just as is seen in music. There's a clear reason those who were educated for the first five years in their local languages speak far better English or french than their children who got a subpar foundation in the name of avoiding vernacular. It's also a protective factor against psychosis and memory loss. If I remember correctly, third generation immigrants lose that protective factor due to language not being passed on.

    7. Be an insightful thinker. The book will not only encourage but harness growth for people who are not fluent in English language. When they use the test book in their mother tongue they will understand and apply the knowledge. Always look on the bright side of life.

    8. As a scholar, you shouldn’t be so quick to bring writers down. As an experienced and exposed scholar, your dues diligence would have been to purchase and read through atleast 2 of those books before dropping any form of criticism.

An intelligent, experienced and exposed scholar knows what to do.

As a layman critic, I feel disappointed in reading that from a learned person. Learn to encourage people from the little they have built with so much effort. Psychologically, it goes a long way, Positively.

    9. Explain what you mean by "is the language well developed" if it not well developed, why do they study them in the universities and taught internationally. You go just open mouth waa

    10. Will the exams be done in Igbo language?you people are fooling yourself by castigating this poster that spoke against the book. The other countries rhat have books in their native language teach in their schools with their native language.Youre using igbo language to write a book that will be taught in English, lmao. But because it’s Igbo, and tou want to support your own,you people will refuse to think logically.

    11. You have no idea the many things we can do with our own language. As Achebe said, we took the white man's language and have done many things with it. And you think we cannot do many things with our own language? I grew up in Aba and back then, there were many waec/jamb preparation lesson centers where physics, chemistry and so were taught in Igbo. Infact the best science teachers would break down their lectures in Igbo and everyone will understandπŸ˜† and you will see students clearing jamb, making all A's who learned in Igbo. This was before social media, hope that urge for learning and holiday lesson still exists in Aba today...
