FilmHouse Group CEOs Moses Babatope And Kene Okwuosa Battle For Control

The co founders of the FilmHouse Group Moses Babatope and Kene Okwuosa have different leadership styles which seem to be clashing and insiders whisper that the two may be parting ways soon due to this

Several insiders at the FilmHouse Group have shed light on tensions between Moses Babatope and Kene Okwuosa and they whisper that ifferences in vision and leadership styles between the two have, for some months now been a point of contention within the organization.

Things came to a head on Monday with an announcement to more than 100 staff hinting that one of the managing directors may end up stepping down to pursue a new path in the industry, as having two captains on a ship is deemed untenable.

A business newspaper report published on Thursday March 21, 2024 confirmed  that part of the problem may be the fact that both managing directors wish to take the company along a different growth path.

Insiders allege that there has been frequent clashes between the two CEOs regarding the strategic direction at the group.

Babatope's approach has been said to be more "hands-on" and relational and his achievements include the expansion of FilmOne Entertainment and closing of major distribution deals, which has seen his influence grow within Nollywood.

Kene Okwuosa's leadership style is said to be more focused on building a legacy establishment.
Another reason attibuted to the frequent clashes is that some consider Moses' rising profile and visibility as a growing threat to their own ambitions, especially because of his high profile interviews and industry recognition that he has consistently received.
Here is a standing ovation to both men, they tried but two captains cannot be in a ship!

    1. Well this here is growth...Truly one person has outgrown his position and an exit is inevitable...They tried because it is hard to see 2 captains in a ship...I wish them all the best...Maybe Moses can flout another division under company or establish his own company...
