Leave her alone. I thought you just finished burying your husband and you are now back into politics? Time will tell if she indeed leaked your husband's ailment to the press.

  9. This woman lacks decorum as a former first lady. She talks like an agbero. You lost your husband. He is gone, should you yet be interested at this time in the politics of your state? I think you should be sober and mourn your husband quietly.

    1. In being sober and in mourning, she should overlook a betrayer? Do you know how painful that is for her and her family this period?

    2. Which betrayal? Is madam former first lady a learner? They are politicians! Did she not betray Ondo people when she tried by all means to cling to power even when her husband was way too sick to govern? Was that not a betrayal of the trust of the people of Ondo? She put her personal interest above that of the people .

Now tell me the difference between her and the husband's niece? The niece has now put her own interest above their family's and the hypocrite cries.

      Stop capping nonsense.

  13. Na their way , their tribe is always seeing people as if the whole world is against them. That was how one was shouting the other day when we were sharing tomato in the market, whereas most of us are of different tribes, Igbo,Hausa, basa ,igala, igbira, but this woman was saying they want to cheat her because she's a particular tribe, oya madam take mine and give me yours she no gree

    1. You decided to play the tribal card. They're coming for you. I'll not say pim.

    2. Tribalism is not helpful. This woman's behaviour is not a characterization of her entire tribe. Let's address things objectively.

  14. Very useless woman her husband was in far away Germany in hospital. She stated with her son Jide the commissioner to be plundering Ondo state resources. She can't even support her husband and surround him with love. Her husband died alone in foreign ward without being surrounded by loves ones, she prioritise money and power above all else. Go back and re-contest again and let see what would happen to you.

  15. Husband died alone in Germany. She was at home doing what? when she had all the resources to be emotionally available for her dying husband, she gave up on him and was fighting everyone up and down. Imagine displaying the face of your children's cousin as a serpent, and you are over 70 years old grandma. What decorum are you teaching your lineage.

  16. The moment she started running a kitchen cabinet while hiding the health status of her husband and doing a lot to ruin his legacy, she lost a huge swath of good standing.

The moment Aketi returned this current governor as running mate despite his record as a wife beater, Aketi got stuck. When he said during the reelection celebration that Lucky would succeed him, he stepped into it. The moment he analyzed Lucky's names in church and told him that the world is his, he dragged his coffin. Both men didn't have to do anything against each other. Stakeholders on many sides just started with and life and chance happened.

Madam Betty should realise that her husband dragging his feet about impeaching Aiyedatiwa and not being clear on succession led to all this. The niece may also bear a grudge for whatever reason and the illegality of governor Akeredol's last days left a bitter taste in the mouths of those in Ondo. It's time to try maturity and wisdom after all, she can no longer summon members of the state assembly to bark orders at them and order them around.

    1. Beautiful comment.
Your second paragraph sums it all up. Aketi analysed each of the current governor's name - Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa - forgetting that there is power in the tongue.
Betty needs to stop all these bickerings and self-inflicted battles, go on an introspective vacation after the mourning period, clear her head and empty her soul of all bitterness and vindictive tendencies ... and maybe, just maybe, she would find peace.

  17. This woman lacks emotional maturity. May Aketi continue to RIP.

  18. So the niece should not live her life because of rivalry...abeg. this Betty too de worry

  19. Does she want to contest as Governor?

  20. I can understand how she feels. She now knows who the snitch was but she should have applied wisdom. The social media callout was unnecessary. She and her family stole enough to last them a lifetime so make she chillax.
