My late dad told me that if a lady want to return back her bride price and the man in question refused to corporate with his family to accept it. That the lady can go ahead and pay it into his account, he said the lady should send the money to her elder brother, father or uncle. The person will then transfer the money to the man's account and write "bride price returned'' send proof of transfer to the man and face front.
ReplyDeleteShe can go further to inform the man's relatives that his bride price has been given back to him. That is how is done from where i am coming from, i know not all culture is the same. You cannot hold down a woman you no longer want to be with and stop her from finding love again.

When Toto, sorry, Tonto and other cantankerous ladies were dragging their exes on social media forever, women on this blog said we should allow them to continue, to help their healing process. Why not allow Israel to continue and help his healing process? He is a human being - though I don't support men being this feminine in attitude.
