There were seven people in the hall on my wedding day March 26th, 2024.

DeleteI hope when my wedding comes i will have it simple too. Go for the wedding Mass then go home. On Sunday go for thanksgiving. immediate family and few friends will be hosted to sumptuous meal and drinks at home. The hosting sef na for future hubby sake.
DeleteI do not have strength for party. i have strength for 3 hours only. 1hr for to and fro church, 2hrs Mass and picture. Nothing more. i just hope my hubby understands and aligns too.

ReplyDeleteIf you need people to send you money for your wedding then are you really prepared for marriage? The financial undertaking in a marriage is endless.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone can marry from a position of comfort though. But with adequate planning, most of the wedding bills can be settled easily by just the couple without needing external help.
For me though, during my time I shared invitation without expecting anything. I didn't even do any committee of friends and neither did my wife. We set up a joint business and raised money from there.
The presence of invited people was more of importance to me. Seeing how we handled everything ourselves, my uncles and aunts put money together and gave us a cheque during our reception. We used that for an extended vacation across 3 states.

Depending on the location to my wedding. If the location is far and will cost much higher I will prefer they support me but if rhe location is within where they reside. Please come weather you have gift or Cannot support me.
