  1. Good Morning,

    DARE TO ACHIEVE

Go ahead and dream. Go ahead and act on your dream.

Dare to desire improvement, progress, achievement, fulfillment. Do the work to make it happen.

Embrace the challenges as they point the way to your goal. Learn, adapt, inquire, wonder, and most of all, act.

Your life today is greatly enhanced by the ambition, competence, and achievement of countless individuals going back for centuries. Keep the goodness of their achievements going with your own positive focus and dedication.

Seek to better understand and experience the reality of existence. Work to improve upon what you discover.

The possibilities have no limit. Do your part to bring the best ones into being.

  2. Fellow Nigerians,
In God's timetable, there's nothing like "marry early" or "marry late". His time is ALWAYS PERFECT! There's NO Biblical or Nigerian law that says marrying at 20 is early and good, and marrying at 40 is late and bad. We just love to mock others, so that we can feel good about ourselves. Are you aware that not everyone will get married or have kids? Does that make them failures? Haven't you seen someone who got married at 20, and didn't have kids, and someone who got married at 50, and had kids? What does that tell you? See, God is the ultimate. He alone decides what happens to each of us. It is not your place to determine what age people should get married and when they should have kids. God blesses people when He wants.
Sadly, many women have mastered the art of mocking each other with marriage and children. May you not be the reason why another woman will cry her eyes out and ask God questions.
    Una Gud Morning....#ALiSpeaks

    4. Thank you Ali B, your comments are always deep and thoughtful.

While there's no need to be desperate, we realise desperation belies our subconsciousness. To what use is it that we desire what we are not even prepared for? Self-financial empowerment should be the first step towards the journey of marriage. Mental strength, character and attitude, then your spiritual maturity.

Marriage is beautiful with it thorns, blemishes and scars. To enjoy it you must be wiling to give as much as you are expecting to get, to the best of your capability. Marriage brings out the authenticates in us.

    7. I used to be jealous of my sisters that are married because my younger sister especially was indirectly rubbing it in my face. But you see now, I am not and I am saying this with my full chest. They chose to get married immediately after school but I chose my career. Now they want me to take care of them. How? What about your husbands. E be like shame nor dey catch una.

  3. Your Life Is Carefully Planned By God!!
    Ephesians 1:4-6.

"There's no need to be jealous or envious of anyone. You were fashioned for an excellent life. He had everything about your life well thought out; none of us is a mistake."

"There's nothing about your life that's outside the framework of God's conception. He’s already done everything He needed to do for your life to be a continual stream of testimonies. Therefore, live joyfully every day, praising Him."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I live joyfully every day, praising you, knowing that your nature is in me and your brand is on me. I’m fashioned for good works and to live the good life which you have prearranged for me. There’s no room for frustration, sadness and gloom in my life because I’m a superior being, created without any defect. I function perfectly and excellently for your glory. Amen

Good morning blogfam and Stella. Hope we slept like babies? I want to appreciate everyone for their prayers and wishes for me yesterday. My spirit was elated and I really felt loved. God bless you all and may celebrations never cease in your lives. I wish us a great day ahead. Stay safe.

  8. ✔️KNOW YOURSELF. PART 137

    INSECURITY (B)

7.) Difficulty Handling Criticism: Insecure individuals may struggle to handle constructive criticism, interpreting feedback as a personal attack and reinforcing their negative self-perception.

8.) Avoidance of Risks: Fear of failure or judgment may lead insecure individuals to avoid taking risks or pursuing opportunities that could challenge their comfort zone.

9.) Negative Self-Talk: Internal dialogue filled with self-criticism, negative assessments, and pessimistic thoughts is common in individuals dealing with insecurity.

10.) Overly Apologetic Behavior: Insecure individuals may apologize excessively, even for minor mistakes or perceived faults. This behavior stems from a fear of upsetting others or being judged for their actions.

11.) Jealousy and Possessiveness in Relationships: Insecurity often manifests in relationships through jealousy, possessiveness, and an overwhelming need for constant reassurance from a partner. Fear of abandonment may drive clingy behavior.

12.) Difficulty Accepting Compliments: Insecure individuals may struggle to accept compliments graciously, often deflecting or downplaying praise. They may find it challenging to believe positive compliments about themselves.

13.) Overcompensating with Bravado: Some individuals mask their insecurity by projecting a confident or boastful exterior, overcompensating to hide their self-doubt.

14.) Overthinking Social Interactions: Insecure individuals may obsessively analyze social interactions, worrying about how they were perceived and whether others liked them.

15.) Reluctance to Share Opinions: Insecurity may lead individuals to withhold their opinions or ideas, fearing rejection or criticism for expressing their thoughts.

16.) Difficulty Setting Boundaries: Insecure individuals may struggle to assert themselves and set boundaries, fearing that doing so may lead to rejection or disapproval.

17.) Self-Sabotage: Individuals dealing with insecurity may unconsciously undermine their own success or happiness, as they fear undesired attention or scrutiny.

Understanding and addressing insecurity often involve therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps individuals challenge and change negative thought patterns.
Building self-awareness, practicing self-compassion, and developing healthy coping mechanisms are essential components of overcoming insecurity and fostering a more positive self-perception.

  20. CHANGE HOW YOU PRAY

I have not stopped giving thanks for you.' Ephesians 1:16 NIV

Biblical prayers are powerful. They put things into perspective. For example, Paul prayed that God would give the Ephesians 'the Spirit of wisdom and revelation...that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you...and his incomparably great power' (Ephesians 1:17-19 NIV).

JoHannah Reardon writes: (1) Make your prayers God-centred. The Creator of the universe has given you the privilege of bringing your requests to him. When you tell God how great he is, you're filled with an expectancy that something great can happen because you're talking to the one who can do anything. (2) Make them praise-filled. Paul starts by saying, 'I have not stopped giving thanks for you' (Ephesians 1:16 NIV). The key isn't to focus on your troubles, but to thank God and praise him because he knows what he is doing. Learn to say, 'I don't know why I'm having this problem, Lord, and I would love for you to change things. But if you don't, I know you will use it for good in my life.' (3) Make them life-changing. Most of our prayers are asking God to change our circumstances. But maybe he wants to change you. That doesn't mean he won't ever intervene; he supplies needs, opens doors and heals people in incredible ways every day.

Have you been praying for something that never seems to happen? Could you possibly need to look at changing the way you pray? Paul found joy in a prison cell, and when God opens your eyes, you can find joy in your situation too.

  33. Reading yesterday's SP last night, I saw that comment from Bv Ummu about thieves now stealing food from people's kitchen.
It happened here in my area too, this woman was cooking, she now stepped out of the kitchen for some minutes, before she came back, they have removed her pot of food from the fire, the food was almost ready when she left. She shouted , people checked all the other tenants rooms, no trace of the food. This one happened in one of those face me I slap you houses where they share kitchen. Since then, everyone now cooks in their rooms.

Another one happened in a house that has fence and gate, the occupants were at work, the thief broke into the kitchen, packed all their raw foodstuff and carried the 12.5kg gas cylinder at the back of the kitchen.
People with stealing tendencies now capitalize on the situation in the country to hurt their fellow Nigerians by stealing their things. It is a very wicked thing to do.
