  1. LIVE IT NOW

Fill today with living. That’s what it’s for.

As each moment passes, bring into being some fresh new richness. There’s no shortage of possibilities for doing so.

What have you always wanted to learn? What experiences, achievements, observations, and joys would best fill the hours of this day?

Before you dare to wish for more opportunities, make use of the ones you already have. Instead of putting off fulfillment until some later date, go ahead and live it now.

You’ll always have the excuses, but you only have one shot at living this day. So step beyond those excuses and live today as fully as you can imagine.

Life is yours, and it’s a great thing to have. Live it now.

  2. Nigerians are funny. They'll put pressure on you to have many kids, as if they will help you bear the brunt of taking care of them, forgetting that raising kids, is beyond money. Children take a lot from you mentally, physically, economically and otherwise.
When I was single, I already decided I wanted just 2 kids, as that is the number I feel I can ADEQUATELY cater for. When I met my wife, I told her about it, and thank God she understood. Now that God has graciously given us the number we want, our prayer is that God will keep them safe for us, because, we nor dey add again, no matter the pressure.
Parenting is truly the MOST DIFFICULT job in the world, and we must be intentional in making a success of it. Plus, these kids are a gift from God and as caretakers, we will give account of our stewardship. May we not be found wanting.
Give birth to the number of kids you can confidently take care of. Parenting nor be moimoi.

  4. FAILURE TO SUCCESS (2)

'You are snared by the words of your mouth.' Proverbs 6:2 NKJV

A noted psychiatrist remarked that two of the saddest words in human vocabulary are 'if only'. He believes people who get trapped by their failures spend their lives saying, 'If only I had tried harder...if only I had been kinder to my kids...if only I had been more truthful...if only...' The way to change that mindset is to change your vocabulary by substituting the words 'next time'. 'Next time I will try harder...next time I will be kinder to my kids...next time I will be more truthful.'

The Bible says, 'You are snared by the words of your mouth' (Proverbs 6:2 NKJV). And a snare is a trap. Have you ever seen an animal caught in a trap, struggling to be free? Your words can do that. And they don't just affect you, they affect others. Maybe you think we're making too big a deal out of this. If you do - read on: 'A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit' (Proverbs 15:4 NKJV). 'Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit' (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV). Jesus said, 'Whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says' (Mark 11:23 NKJV). What do these Scriptures have in common? They confirm that our words breathe life (or death) into everything!

Instead of defeatist talk, speak victory over your situation. Instead of speaking failure, speak success. When you do, God will honour the fruit of your lips.

  5. Ticket To Every Blessing!!
    John 16:23.

"Did you know that the Name of Jesus is your ticket to every blessing? It represents more than you could ever imagine or desire."

"Everything you could ever ask or desire is fulfilled in Christ; all you need do is declare they’re yours in His Name. Every so often, declare, “I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ, a partaker of the inheritance of the saints; all things are mine, in the Name of Jesus!” When you make such declarations, nature responds to you."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the power and authority in the Name of Jesus by which I live in the overflowing goodness, victories and blessings of heaven. In His Name, I walk in the glorious heritage and liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!

  7. I went to buy fish on Saturday and was just lamenting about the price that was doubled, a man came to buy a paint of rice and the woman said 5400πŸ˜•
The man just froze and appeared in shock🫨.
He stood still and till I finished buying what I came to buy, he had not moved from where he was standing 😞😭
I temporarily forgot my own and felt so sorry for him, wondering what he was thinking πŸ€” , and I also thought maybe his family, especially his children were looking forward to this rice this Sunday and probably this week..., what he will tell them.....😩.
Till now, I am just thinking about that man, feeling sorry for all of us in this country.
This present Nigerian leadership is the epitome of gaslighting😑.

  18. A story was shared by a young lady sometime ago. Let me call her Jenny. She belonged to a group on Facebook just like we have the blog where everyone express themselves and share opinions on issues.

So there was this other lady a troll who rudely attacked Jenny one day based on her opinion on a post. Some persons on the group pointed out how her comment on Jenny was insensitive. She didn't feel remorse neither did she apologize for her rudeness towards Jenny.

Months later, the Admin of the group dropped a post saying ''What's that one thing you need right now to put a smile on your face? Drop it at the comment section your helper might locate you.''

So that lady who had attacked Jenny dropped a request how she need some little foodstuffs and shoes. Others dropped their request too.

Jenny who had already registered the name of that young lady at heart, for it was a heated argument the day she insulted her came across her request on the group's comment section and noticed they both stay in Lagos, picked interest to be her divine Angel. She wrote beneath her, ''If you can come down to this location and address, I will gift you some foodstuffs and some money to buy shoes.''

You know it's months ago she insulted Jenny and called her all sort of unprintable names. Obviously she had forgotten all about it. She was so excited about the help coming her way and quickly DM Jenny for arrangement on how to come over.

    1. Finally they met at Jenny's residence on a Sunday evening. Jenny is married with kids and have told the husband all about it when she initiated interest to bless her.

She got into the building and was ushered in by the house help. She was briefly attended to by the house help who gave her soft drink while waiting for Jenny to come down from the bedroom. Jenny and her husband lives in their own duplex.

Some moments later, Jenny walked down and was greeted ''Good evening Ma'' Jenny smiled and responded to her greetings.

''You're the lady I told to come and pick up the foodstuffs right?'' She excitedly answered yes ma. She was served a meal and after she was done, Jenny's husband joined them at the sitting room.

So Jenny took her back memory lane on the comment made that very day she insulted her and called her a whore. She showed her the post and her nasty comments. It was at that moment she knew and saw she's sitting right inside the house of the one she had insulted and probably would say, 'I'm in my house come and beat me'

For some seconds she was silent and couldn't say a word. When she finally does, she knelt down to beg Jenny but was quickly held up and told to sit down. ''It's a small world you know'' Jenny told her. She called the house help to bring the foodstuffs they already arranged for her.

She was given N50,000 alongside the foodstuffs. In a teary eyes she took it, thanked them and left. Before leaving, Jenny gave some words of advice to her. The husband didn't say a word but watched them till she left.

      This is life.....

Most times the people we troll, insulted or ridiculed could be 100 times better than us but social media becomes a leveller and we think we can just say all manner of things to people we don't know just to get them feel hurt.

What if the original intention was to hurt her? This was how she could have been killed or disgraced. Can I tell you something? If you finally see the very people who had insulted you online, you might end up spitting on yourself for ever engaging them. Truly, they don't worth it. Successful people don't troll or insult people online but weak people do.

The importance of glycerine cannot be overemphasized in this weather.
Dear women, buy it, it's cheap (250-300 in pharmacies here) and it relieves dry skin. Yes them you don't want imported one but Nigerian made. Imported one is expensive.
You don't have to look like harmattan's second wife this period. Take care of your skin.

Mercy, let me add that you all should lubricate your lips and that of your kids too. I see some kids with cracked sore lips and feel bad. Buy lip balms, the small ones of less than 500 for them or buy Vaseline blue seal and scoop some into tiny containers for your kids, tell them to apply on their lips from time to time. Note that you can only do this for kids older than 4yrs
      Enjoy your day all 😁

    How is your week going?
Pls if you have excess food in your house, share with those that don't have. It's a terrible situation out there.
Bv Praise, I saw your reply 🀣🀣. You don't know that one hustle is not enough again nowadays? You need at least two jobs to meet up with bills now. May Almighty God be merciful into us and ease our affairs πŸ™
