When you learn to love yourself eh, you will realise that waiting for a mans love to validate yourself is vanity.....I am not a feminist ooooh, I am just saying love yourself, be self confident in who you are and how you look and build yourself to a point where nothing gets to your skin......

VALENTINES DAY OUTING

Please, I posted a comment on in house news this afternoon about wanting ideas on what to do and places to have fun on Val's day. Someone said to mail you. Its going to be an evening affair because of work. Le boo would be working late tomorrow. I'm looking at Abule Egba, Iju axis. Somewhere close to his last work post tomorrow. Abeg help me post on in house news tomorrow. I'll be checking the comments. Before 5 pm, I'll be sure to get good help from bvs. Thank you.

PINKYS CORNER

This country is somehow and I just feel like moving out of this country but money dey yab man. I keep saying this but e be like say I no get sense. When a sub-system of a society model is bad then the whole system will malfunction . This is what is really happening in this country. Corruption everywhere. People are not ready to perform their duty as stated in their Employment letter without bribing them.

There is a boy(say 12years) that was sick and we rushed him to the hospital. The boy has kidney problem. They tried their best and referred us to General hospital here in Ibadan. We got there around 9am and we began to run around like a mad dog. Instead of them to attend to us first, they said we should go get a file and began to do some test.

This issue of test began. We begged them to atleast help us out. They should attend to the boy while we keep moving around to register this boy and make payment for his test because at the test point, there are people on the queue and everyone was looking like a hungry and angry lion. From their facial expressions, you will know they are also there to make payment and do urgent test blablabla.

 So, such individual will not even listen to your plea of letting you pay first, which means, you have to wait for your turn. I saw a woman crying and shouting at the payment stand saying " ejo , e ma je ki omo mi ku , e da wa lohun kia".
Unfortunately for us all, after running around and wasting much time, we were able to make payment just exactly 3pm but guess what? The boy died just after getting the receipt that will be showed to them so as to take him in for test.

 Hmmmmm.. This thing can't happen in a country where lives are important to people. I see nothing wrong in attending to this boy first. There are some medical issues that needs urgent attention and trying to tell the patient or anyone who brought them to open a file or to go and make payment first is wickedness. You can see we have cash but payment system is bad.

I pity the couple though and I even find it difficult to go pay them a visit after the incident. It's a different thing if I wasn't there with them to go through the general hospital process. That would have been a different case, I would have gone to see them again but this, I was live in there when everything happened.
Please mothers and fathers in here, don't joke with your child's health. Take prompt action when necessary, check them always because they eat a lot in school while not with you. Alot of things done behind you that can affect them health wise. When you notice anything, take action and don't just over look things. A stitch in time they say, ...........
I wish us well..
I am not in a good mood right now.

THE POWER OF A WOMAN

When a woman wants to teach you a lesson, even Satan sits down to take notes. My neighbor was a big drunk. His wife used to pick him up in bars and in trenches. Her family friends advised her to leave him but she was hopeful that she'll find a solution.

One Saturday she went to pick him again, he was completely drunk. Instead of taking him home, she headed straight to the mortuary. She negotiated with the mortuary attendants to make him lie with the corpses and when he wakes up they teach him a lesson. She then went back home.

When he woke up, he started screaming when he found himself sleeping in the middle of dead bodies. He started screaming and calling for help pleading that he's not dead. The mortuary attendants came laughing and told him that they are used to corpses being brought to the morgue and start practicing witchcraft. They told him to lie down and that he was dead and whatever he was seeing was not in real life but in the other end of living dead.

He continued screaming and the morgue attendants came with an axe and hammer and told him that stubborn corpses are beaten and hacked until they become cooperative. He was told to lie and wait for his postmortem later that day since his cause of death hadn't been established.

He stayed there frightened in the middle of corpses the whole of that day and Sunday night. On Monday morning they released him and told him to go home, say bye bye to his family and then come back to the morgue for preservation since he was now a mere spirit.

He ran home on foot, straight to the mirror to check if he was seeing himself. His wife pretended not to see him which made him even more worried. He went to the bathroom took a shower, dressed up and carried a Bible. That's when his wife told him that it was a Monday morning and not Sunday.

Several months later he's yet to reveal what happened to him and where he was the 2 nights he wasn't at home. He stopped taking alcohol completely, not even soda, just milk and water. He goes to church religiously.
