You can’t do everything, but you can do something. You can’t change the whole world, but you can make a difference.
It’s frustrating when you’re weighed down and impeded by factors far beyond your control. The more you focus on those immovable obstacles, the more frustrated you become.
So make the choice to shift your focus. Turn your thoughts away from what you can’t do, and toward what you can do.
No, the world is certainly not perfect, but then neither are you. And though you can’t make much of a dent in the outside world, there are lots of ways to improve yourself, your surroundings, your opportunities.
Sure, outside forces are holding you back, but what might you be doing to also hold yourself back? And what steps could you take to remove those self-imposed obstacles?
Re-direct the energy of your frustration into positive, purposeful activity to create meaningful improvements. And by doing so you’ll better position yourself for whatever difficulties life throws at you.

The sad thing about life is, no matter who you are and what you have, when you die, people will mourn, but the world won't stop. Life MUST go on. Mr Herbert Wigwe's death is sad, unfortunate, and painful. However, Access Bank have announced his acting replacement. And that's how it is! Life will always go on. And as cliche as it sounds, there really is nothing in this life. All the fight, greed, pride, selfishness and acquisitions, las las, we ain't leaving with nothing! We shall be elevated beyond our wildest dreams in Jesus name π Our hope's shall not be aborted, and we shall have every cause to smile, because the Lord will be our shield and buckler. Before we call, the Lord will answer us. IN JESUS NAME WE PRAYππ GOOD MORNING MY SDK FAMILY
"Every step Jesus took was the Word of God in motion. He was the Word personified. And the day you received Him to live in you, you also became the Word made flesh, being born of the same Word of God."
"So,like Jesus, you're the Word in motion, for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Now you understand why we’re called the Epistle (Word) of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:1-3). You’re the Word in flesh."
Prayer!!
Dear Father, I thank you for the extraordinary life I received when I believed and received the Word. Now, I’m the reproduction of the Word; Christ Jesus, the living Word, lives in and through me! My life is the expression of your will, thoughts, ideas and opinions. Blessed be God!
Good morning.. may the Almighty God protect and provide for us today and always in Jesus name..Amen..and as we go out to hustle today we will achieve our Aim..
The constant dance of push/pull drama in relationships can be attributed to various underlying causes, often rooted in individual insecurities, communication patterns, and emotional dynamics. Here's a detailed explanation of some common causes:
1.) Fear of Abandonment:
a.) Insecurity: Individuals who fear abandonment may engage in the push/pull dynamic as a way to test their partner's commitment or to prevent being left alone. b.) Need for Reassurance: The push phase may involve seeking reassurance and closeness to alleviate anxiety about potential abandonment.
2.) Avoidance of Vulnerability:
a.) Fear of Intimacy: Some people may have a fear of emotional intimacy, leading them to pull away after experiencing closeness to protect themselves from potential emotional harm. b.) Difficulty Being Open: Expressing deep emotions and vulnerability can be challenging, prompting individuals to retreat when the relationship becomes too emotionally intense.
3.) Communication Issues:
a.) Unclear Expectations: Lack of clear communication about individual needs and expectations can contribute to misunderstandings and the push/pull pattern. b.) Mismatched Desires: Partners may have different preferences for closeness and space, leading to conflicting desires and behaviors.
4.) Past Relationship Trauma:
a.) Unresolved Trauma: Individuals with past relationship traumas, such as betrayal or abandonment, may carry emotional wounds that influence their behavior in current relationships. b.) Repetition of Patterns: Without addressing past traumas, individuals may unconsciously repeat unhealthy relationship patterns.
5.) Attachment Style:
a.) Anxious Attachment: Individuals with an anxious attachment style may constantly seek reassurance and closeness (push) but may also become overwhelmed and withdraw when they fear rejection (pull). b.) Avoidant Attachment: Those with an avoidant attachment style may desire independence and space (pull) but may feel the need for connection and reassurance at times (push).
6.) Lack of Self-Awareness:
a.) Unconscious Patterns: Some individuals may not be fully aware of their own emotional patterns and tendencies, leading to unintentional engagement in the push/pull dynamic. b.) Difficulty Identifying Needs: Difficulty in recognizing and articulating personal needs can contribute to a cycle of inconsistent behavior.
7.) Relationship Power Dynamics:
a.) Control Issues: Power struggles within the relationship can manifest as the push/pull dynamic, where one partner seeks control or dominance through alternating closeness and distance. b.) Desire for Autonomy: The push/pull pattern may reflect a constant struggle between the desire for independence and the need for connection.
8.) Lack of Emotional Regulation:
a.) Emotional Rollercoaster: Individuals with difficulty regulating their emotions may experience intense highs and lows, contributing to the push/pull cycle. b.) Impulsive Behavior: Impulsive reactions to emotional triggers can result in sudden shifts between pursuing and withdrawing.
Addressing the root causes of the push/pull dynamic involves individual and mutual self-reflection, open communication, and, in some cases, seeking professional help such as couples therapy. Developing a deeper understanding of each other's needs and working together to create a secure and supportive relationship environment is essential for breaking the cycle of push/pull drama.
I saw a comment being attributed to one of Atiku's most trusted and former Aides who had shifted base to the ruling party and I shook my head in disbelief.
I'm not against anyone saying whatever they wanna say or share their opinion on an issue, but I hate when people go back to their vomit.

In all fairness to yourself and children, hustle and make your own money genuinely. Get a meal ticket away from politics and sycophancy, else you would become the things you speak against.
WHY WILL LOSING ALL RESPECT FOR A POT OF SOUP MAKE ANYONE LESS OF A MAN? I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS HAS TO DO WITH ANYTHING
WHAT U CALL VOMIT MAY BE FOOD TO ANOTHER WHAT MAKES YOU THINK HE SAW WHERE HE SHIFTED TO AS HIS VOMIT?WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT POLITICS IS A GAME OF CHESS AND THEY ONLY MOVE WHEN THEY KNOW THAT THEY WILL WIN THEWN U WILL UNDERSTAND.IN THE COMING MONTHS AND YEARS A LOT OF PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY WILL PORT TO OTHER PARTUES WHERE GOOD IS SEEN OR PROMISED SO I HOPE IF ANYONE WHO IS UR FAVOURITE PORTS U WILL NOT FIND A MATCHING POT OF SOUP PHRASE TO EXCUSE THEM. INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING ALL THE TIME; TRY TO BE POSITIVE; THERE MAY BE PPLE HERE THAT YOUR POSITIVE WORDS WILL SPUR ON TO BECOME FIGHTERS; YOUR COMPLAIN EVERY MORNING NEEDS TO CHANGE WEDA ANYONE LIKES IT OR NOT; NIGERIA IS HEADED FOR CHANGE; IT MUST CHANGE..... TEEJAY THEY SAY THAT THERE IS TOO MUCH NAIRA IN CIRCULATION; CAN YOU CRACK YOUR HEAD AND COME UP WITH A SOLUTION THAT U CAN TWEET? MAYBE CENTRAL BANK WILL CONTACT U IF YOU ANNOUNCE THAT U KNOW THE SOLUTION; THAT MIGHT BE YOUR BREAK THROUGH. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THE FOREX SITUATION? CAN WE DISCUSS THIS? THE WAY FORWARD? IS THERE HOPE?
I will be so happy if Tinubu deliver and prove all of us wrong in his first tenure. If he does, I will commend and write good about him and throw my support on him.
All I just want is a better Nigeria where we all will smile again. We all want to live happily again. We're not asking for too much but at least the bearest minimum to survive and be able to feed.
Some of us go to bed every night without food and don't know where our next meal will come from cos there's no money. Jobs aren't coming cos people are suspending their projects due to the high cost of cement.
I can go on and on but I hope we will survive this all. They say, what doesn't kill a man makes him stronger but one thing they won't tell you is that, what doesn't kill one can as well damage him for life.
Pls where is the so much money in circulation? I need to know about it and see how best I can go about it giving my own quota for it. After all, it's all our money and Nigeria belong to us all. Maybe you can give me a clue about it privately if you don't mind.
DIDNT GOV OBASEKI SAY THEY WERE PRINTING MONEY AND THE RESULT NOW IS WHAT HE PREDICTED? NO ONE TOOK HIM SERIOUS THEN; PLEASE GO BACK AND READ WHAT HE SAID;EMIFIELE ALLEGED ALLOWED TOO MUCH NAIRA TO BE CIRCULATED VIA PRINTING; THE MONEY MAY NOT BE SEEN BUT IT IS DEFINITELY IN CIRCULATION:::BEING IN CIRCULATION DOESNT MEAN IT LANDS IN THE HANDS OF THE POOR MASSES;IT MAY BE IN ONE RICH MAN UNDERGROUND SAFE.... Bro, that's politics for you. But beyond that, freedom of association is one of the guaranteed rights under our Constitution, so there is no need to come for the man's head.
Stella, i also say a big Amen to your prayers that Nigeria must change. We desperately need things to get better. Beyond the banters, Nigerians really love their country. See how we were all united during the AFCON, and showing support to our players, beyond tribe and party affiliation.
As regards the way forward, allow me to drop my 2 cents. I'm a lawyer, not an economist, but i think these approaches may help, and hopefully, someone in the Government may read this:
1. To ease the pain on the masses, it might be time for Government to revisit the subsidy issue. Petrol is currently about 670 and it has a spiral effect on every other sector. If the Government can re-introduce partial subsidy, and make petrol sell for about N300-N350, the price of commodities will most likely drop.
2. For the forex situation, i think it was a bad move to regulate the transfer of Dollars from abroad. From the current CBN directive, if you are sent money from abroad, you can only pick up that money in Naira, and not in the foreign currency. This may not be so good in the long run, as the few persons who have dollars will hoard it, and set their own rates. By then, it may be difficult for the CBN to regulate it. I think this directive should be revisited.
3. The Government should declare a state of emergency on all the highways in the country. A special task force comprising of Army, Airforce, Civil Defence and Police should be set up to tackle the incessant kidnappings. If the insecurity on our roads is tackled, it will increase trade and strengthen the economy. If this is not done quickly, these criminals may graduate to kidnapping an entire truck load of foodstuff and livestock. This will further worsen the growing food crisis.
