TUC Pulls Out Of 2 Day Planned Nationwide Strike

The Trade Union Congress, TUC, has backed out of the planned two-day nationwide protest declared by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, over the high cost of living, inflation, insecurity, and hardship in the country. The Vice-President of the TUC, Tommy Etim, said on Wednesday that the decision to protest on February 27th and 28th as announced by the NLC was not taken collectively by both unions. - Dailypost

  8. Non-reading people should look up the bodies that make up the TUC and you will see why they made the reasonable decision to stay at work and actually produce. Even parts of the NLC know all this is BS: which bottom cadre member of NURTW is going to collect 200k per month as basic salary? Government has continued to subsidise fuel and are not responsible for the double digit inflation that has hit the USA for the past few quarters so what miracles do they expect to happen except borrow more money to further weaken the naira only for Nigerians to invest the same in toilet fodder, nonessential imports or dollars in order to keep weakening the same naira?
