  1. Good Morning,

    AVOIDING NEW REGRETS

Regret does not bring back missed opportunities. But it can prevent you from taking current opportunities for granted.

There’s a good reason why regret can be so painful. It reminds you not to make a similar mistake again.

Though you cannot escape the regrets you’ve already created, you can make positive use of them. You can learn from them and be motivated by them.

With your choices today, you’re able to avoid being burdened by additional regrets. You have the opportunity to leverage your past experience and thereby improve your future.

Instead of being more regretful tomorrow, you can be more thankful. Rather than wishing you had done things differently, you can be satisfied with your choices, priorities, and actions.

Consider what you can do right now to make that happen. And let your regrets recede further and further into the past.

The AEDC put out this statement on X and I thought to share it with you guys when I came across it. I can see my location included and now know what's up. Y'all should fix it fast abeg.
    Faulty feeder? Hmmm!

The AEDC said that the power outage being experienced is due to a fault affecting the 33kV NIPP feeder and repairs on the transmission station at AT4 are currently ongoing.
The AEDC said the locations affected are Dantata Estate, FO1, Chikakore, Byazhin, Byazhin Across, Gbazango, Guida community, Military Pension Board area, and its environs.
The company also said that they regretted the inconvenience caused by the power outage and assured their teeming customers that all the relevant stakeholders are working relentlessly to ensure the power supply is restored soonest.
    There you have it!

  7. His Righteousness For Your Sin Nature!!
    Romans 6:14.

"The Lord Jesus has given us victory over sin, death and the grave! We’ve been made, not just righteous, but the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself in this light."

"There’s nothing you could have done on your own, through your own human perfection to become righteous. Likewise, there’s also nothing you can do or not do that’ll make you less righteous before God. You’re as righteous as Jesus is righteous because He substituted His righteousness for your sin-nature."

    Prayer!!

Being justified by faith, I’ve been made righteous; I’m sin-free because Christ has given me a new life. He substituted His righteousness for my sin-nature. Now, I’m alive to God and live unto righteousness. I’m washed; I’m sanctified; I’m justified, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Amen.

  8. LET GOD REMOULD YOU

'A believer in Christ is a new creation.' 2 Corinthians 5:17 GWT

What would you like to change about yourself? How would you change it? To ask it another way, what would your spouse or best friend like you to change? Maybe that would be more enlightening. How would you end the sentence, 'It's just like me to...'? Always be late? Not stay on a diet? Say the wrong thing? Burst out in anger? Be sad? The apostle Paul wrote: 'All have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious ideal (Romans 3:23 TLB). You say, 'I guess it's hopeless.'

No, this is where God's life-changing power comes into operation: 'Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun' (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)! Once we commit our lives to Jesus, we're not the same any longer; a new life has begun. That's why the Bible calls it being 'born again'. We immediately have a new nature, plus the indwelling Holy Spirit. A set of 'spiritual batteries' is included to supply the power! That makes all the difference. Just as your first birth was the beginning of your life, so the new birth is the beginning of this new life.

And this new birth is followed by a lifelong process, again talked about by Paul: 'Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect' (Romans 12:2 NLT).

  12. Abia State having uninterrupted power supply, that's 24hrs in nine LGA and it will run 24/7. This is great and massive. Goodbye to office and house fuel purchase. Money spent on those two will be used for other purposes.

Alex Otti and Prof Barth Nnaji are God sent to the people.

There's definitely something about former bank's director becoming governors. When I say this, H.E Peter Obi and Alex Otti comes to mind.

This is the very reason I keep saying that, governance is no rocket science. A state the Orjis and Ikpeazu almost destroyed but God listened to the cries of the Abians and brought in a builder and a true democrat. I can imagine how past governors of Abia state are feeling now.

Now you know why Abia is christened 'GOD OWN STATE'

Let me tell you what will now happen in Abia state. Business will boom especially small scale businesses that were being disturbed by electricity unavailability.

Secondly, there will be influx of new businesses, companies, investments both local and international in Abia state.

Someone I know who abandoned his dilapidated hotel and duplex in Aba and ran to Lagos is making plans to relocate to Aba. He's already drawing calculations on renovations.

I sincerely wish Anambra will toe this path being a huge commercial state as well.

Aba, the Enyimba city is gradually regaining its lost glory. The roads are now being fixed. The PH-ABA high way is under construction.

Pls Guys, let's give Alex Otti his flowers. A man of the moment.

  35. The anti gay bill has been passed in Ghana. Though lenient, it's a step in the right direction. Really wish I'm Ghanaian rn 😍 other African countries should follow suit, let's come together and get rid of these possessed demons polluting our lands

  36. Good Morning,

Please this linking of bvn and NIN to a bank account. Is it both that must be linked or just one? Is linking only bvn enough?

Those that use Gt bank and submitted their Nin linking form online is it still necessary to go to the bank?

    Thanks.

    2. Do you have evidence?. Remember evidence ends arguments. Start from your office. There should be a department that is responsible for staff matters. Report him officially attaching all your evidence and allow them handle it.

    3. Report to the company management first, if they don't handle it well, then you can take it outside

    4. I am sorry about that. Please report this first to HR providing all the evidences (verbal, recording and written) to make your case with your line manager or HOD in copy.....The HR will carry out an investigation and would summon both you and accused to a disciplinary hearing; this is for fair hearing as you cannot be your own judge in your case...

Check your employee handbook to know the timeline and process flow of reporting such cases so you know the timeline on the outcome of the case...

When your company or HR has not come up with the final disciplinary action within your company timeframe, then please go ahead and seek external help....

I understand that you are upset but please follow the guidelines of your organization first before you seek external redress...

      All the best....

  41. Be careful what you post on social media, especially things that have to do with LGTBQ, Womens and Children's right, terrorism and any type of hate speech (Misogyny and Misandry)...stuff like that can cost you your job or be the reason a country denies you entry. Be culturally and emotionally intelligent, every thing no be fight!

  42. When you sell off your old stock below current market price of the product, you are actually shooting yourself on the foot. You will have to source for money else where to be able to buy the product again.

That is the reason we mark up prices whenever products increase in price sharply/as the need arises.

  43. I'm the anonymous 9:58, I've reported him to the HR, but I'm thinking they will not handle it very well.
I don't have any recordings or written, but I have verbal and eyewitnesses.
Thanks to everyone that has replied me, I appreciate.

  44. Hello SDK and bvs
It is Thursday and a bright, beautiful one here.
Light came last night and lasted till this morning. Everyone was happy, phones charged, taps running , music blaring till I left home.

I saw all these guys that go around checking people's BP for a fee of #200. Checked mine and it was very normal.
E remain to check blood sugar cos the way I have been eating carbs these days is serious.
