ReplyDeleteSomething has been irking me from the majority of comments on that post earlier today(?) of the man who killed his wife and himself in a state in the South west because he caught her cheating with the security guard.
Majority of the comments were from women, this is a femo-centric blog after all. But the level of vitriol that was behind most of the comments was shocking really.
Are there that many women carrying some form of hurt around? Most of them seemingly were justifying the woman cheating and saying the man could not have been a saint either. That's not my brief to hold. Nothing justifies cheating I'll always maintain. Cheating is the forte of the weak.
But coming down like a ton of bricks on any man with a cheating spouse is absolutely poor form. There also appears to be a general sense of animosity to male BVs on here. It isn't surprising then that most male BVs prefer to remain anonymous.
Unlike Dantem most male BVs would rather prefer staying above the fray. The constant attacks men are subjected to here is appalling and sad.
That your man may have cheated at some point doesn't mean every man out there does the same. I think male BVs should be cut some slack. I don't believe this blog exists to settle scores. Whatever grouse anyone has regarding cheating should strictly be internalized. Painting with a broad brush kills the atmosphere is spirited engagement this blog should engender.
