Do you not know of the the African environmentalists all across the continent who are reforesting deserted areas so that food can grow. What of all the African scientists who are solarizing the continent for energy and creating the solar panels from scratch. Didn't Dangote just open oil refineries. Wasn't it right in Nigeria that an African designed and produced vehicles were made, how many of you purchased one? so many of you covet the creations of other nations and put down your own, then turn around and complain that Africa is not doing anything. Many of you haven't even vacationed through the continent and spend money there, but you will be quick to go to Dubai, Europe, America and all the place far and wide and spend copious amounts of money in the quest of enjoyment, building up all those other places instead of spending on your own continent and developing it. The majority of North Americans and Europeans vacation on their own continent, but give an African small money, they don't even know Tanzania or The Gambia exists. Look at the background of the photo that Erigga is in. What has he contributed to the development of Africa? Go contribute your own instead of being a nuisance.

ReplyDeleteThe overall message he was trying to pass is that Africa is a lazy continent and i agree with him. This is what one oyinbo used to insult us on an App, at first it was racist to me then technically, after critical thinking, it clicked, he was right. We are the only continent that sits and wait for handouts. We wait for them to do the innovation and after 200 years of it, we beg them to give us. What have we ever innovated that the world copied from us? Nth!!! Even down to food, we are a continent that still wait for food aid, medical aid, in fact everything.

There was a meme showing European men going into space and African men having a “witchcraft contest” they were jumping to see which wizard could jump the farthest. Of course you can’t always compare the two considering history but this seems to be a valid
