These stories just irk me. The church didn’t impregnate her, it was either a man or ivf. She had to go to doctors during her pregnancy to ensure health, eat right and follow the doctors instructions, yet lacked level 1 science knowledge to know she needed to be in a hospital if her water broke before it’s due date. The church that is not involved in her pregnancy in any way is where she decides to go. I can only think that her cross to bear is never to hold a baby as her own in her lifetime, cause a c-section probably could have helped depending on how far along she was, but maybe she wanted the Israelite women delivery. Who knows how deep her religious madness goes.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pity. That's howy neighbour went to church when she was sick. The sickness worsened and she was rushed from the church to the hospital but died the very next day.

ReplyDeleteThank God for me having some skepticism in me. How could I put a pastor over a doctor, some of these pastors took a one hour online course, some claim to be called of the spirit, some see money opportunity. And their followers would really think they have some divine mark on them. Now they will tell her that it was a test of faith and she passed, and God has a great destiny for her. She lucky sepsis didn’t sink in, but her uterus is likely damaged for having two dead babies decomposing inside of her for days. I can’t even imagine the odour when they evacuated them. She will probably never conceive again.
ReplyDeleteHave you considered that she was probably told that the babies wouldn’t survive after she went to the hospital, hence she went to the only place she could for a miracle. People tend to write these things because of traffic. Don’t judge such situations from one side of the story. I pray God consoles her and give her babies soon
ReplyDeleteYou don’t need to be inside of a church to receive a miracle though. I have found miracles at work, in the club, at home and on the road. Miracles can be found everywhere and anywhere. God is omnipotent and omnipresent.

DeleteThis was my story 3 years ago. I TTC for almost 4 years, then I later got pregnant. Prior to my delivery date my water broke of which I misunderstood for just vaginal discharge. And there was no sign of labor at all. I just went for normal routine scan and I was told that my water is almost finished that it has broken. I quickly rushed back and ran to the hospital immediately and I was booked for emergency CS. I was delivered of a bouncing baby boy. My boy will be 3years in April.
Her babies would had made it if she went to the hospital immediately which would have resulted in CS.
So many women are so brainwashed by religion institution especially the Christians. The takes everything to their pastors instead of hospital and any other possible solutions.
One of my neighbor did the same thing years back just that she was lucky both her and her baby made it.
Thank God that my sense is working wellla, Nigerian and religion are 5&6 , but no feat of God . I can never kneel down for any pastor to pray for me . My mouth is not for decorations.
