The summon was through its Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions headed by Senator Adetokunbo Abiru.
The governor and his team were asked to appear on Tuesday ,February 6, 2024 to explain the state of the economy and the free flow of the Naira at the forex market.

Now the dollar is swimming to 2k! Is not floating anymore! In all, I am favored because I earn in $. Now Nigerians will produce and buy Nigeria, import less and if possible export,and make dollars. There is a silver lining in all of these storm. Manufacture here, build here and stop going into advanced slavery in the west; except your trip is fully funded from over there.
