PINKYS CORNER

There is a filling station opposite my shop. The owner also has an office where staff who work for him in the real estate resume to. He doesn't know anything about oil and gas, he is into Real Estate Management and the wife is into oil and gas. So, the wife manages all the filling station but recently, she has been so busy running around.

Her mother inlaw has been sick for a while now and she hasn't been around to monitor the filling station and also audit their account. Not only at the branch opposite my shop, also at all other branches here in Ibadan. Last week, someone came from Lagos and introduced themselves as an auditor from Lagos. The manager called the woman to tell her a man came from Lagos and wants to audit and the wife attested to it. She said, she sent them.

They audited their account and realized over #7million was missing through the manager and 1.3m missing through one of the attendant because the woman hasn't done her audit for almost a year and half now. All she does is just buy fuel and gas then send to branches for sales. There is a branch at challenge area too. The new manager who was employed not up to 5months by the husband also looted 1million. When the information got to the husband, he ordered for the arrest.

Note: The manager who diverted over 7million company's money to his own just became a landlord of recent because I could remember when he came to my shop to get a charger for his phone, my neighbor was congratulating him then and they had some discussion which I didn't even bother to join them.

He was arrested on Monday at about 5pm. He wasn't informed of what action or what the owner intend to do because I was told the woman called him to ask him why such amount of money was missing. As in, they spoke about it like nothing happened but he never knew it was a way of getting him unaware. From the Information I got, the man has gone for a court order(the man is a popular man here in Ibadan and one of the head of the golf club). His house documents has been retrieved from him with court order. Presently, I was told he is to face some charges because alot was revealed when the attendant that was arrested too was interrogated.

My question is; what happens to him at the end if his property is taken away from him finally because from the look of things and from the right source. This man and his wife has vowed to take every penny from him without leaving behind anything.

Is it a must to steal from rich men? Most especially when you know that, you are working with a powerful person that can go at any length to destroy you. Must one be so greedy to this extent? I got to realize something lately that, poor people can still forgive you and do business with you even after duping them. All you need do is just be remorseful but rich men especially the powerful ones, they don't joke with their hard earned money. They always want your YES to be YES and your NO to be NO. Contentment is the very best in life if only you want to walk freely and not be denied of your freedom.

Now, the funny thing in this issue is, the guy who works as a supervisor in the car washing department of same filling station as been promoted to be the manager. He never expected it and it came to him. This guy sef never use up to a year with them ooo but you will see him helping everyone in that filling station. Is either he is with the gas attendant guy helping him or with his boys washing cars together. His hard work has made a way for him though.

Most humans being have stealing and loinger throat in their genes

EXPRESS ADVICE NEEDED
I called one of my SILs over the weekend to check on her, she's married and they have been TTC for about 5years now. My In laws are very good people and we are quite close. She sounded reallly low on the phone so I asked is she was fine and she said her period came that morning. I tried to cheer her up.

I've seen several remedies like the okro water and egg amd milk thingy that worked for some TTC bvs here and I'm thinking of sharing with her. How do I go about it without coming off as sensitive? This particular SIL is a sweetheart and I love her so much.

Type out everything and how she will go about it and send it to her via whatsapp messaging and then call her to tell her you sent her something important..Be sure to tell her to be positive and that it really helps....
By the way, what kind of medical condition does she have?

FROM SUNDAY SPONTANEOUS POST

''Please take a minute and say a prayer for me. Maybe it is your prayer God is waiting for to answer me. I will be 42 years this year. No child. No husband. I have been a good girl, faithfully followed Jesus. I stood on the gap to take care of my younger siblings as Ada While struggling to take care of them .I forgot myself and before I opened my eyes I was 40 years. This girls I struggled to provide and protect are now mothers. Happily married and I am here still single. Every other aspect is working well except this loneliness of not having someone I can call my own husband.
Plead with God to show me mercy and give me my own husband this year. All I ask from God is someone that loves Jesus. Someone I can lift my hands with and praise Jesus.
Thank you for praying for me.
Thank you Jesus for hearing the pleads of your children.
I will surely come to testify here''.

You dont need prayers, what you need is action...Dont wait to be found, find also what you want...Please look for the Stellas singles mingle post nd read through, you will definitely find some

A STORY TO LEARN FROM

Sometime ago in a large Telegram group where I belong, someone dropped a short message: $500 and $1000 up for grabs, DM.

I messaged him immediately, and asked how much he was selling a dollar.
He said N745, and I priced N700. 'I need up to $2000,' I added.
He agreed, and said that he was going to oblige me my rate because he needed naira urgently. I was surprised.

How to proceed?
He said I'd send him N700,000 i.e. 50% of the agreed amount, then he'd wire me the total dollar equivalent of $2000. I kept quiet.

He began to call me on Telegram. It was 11.30 pm! I declined his call three times, and told him it was too late to receive a call.

'Where are you?' I asked. He said Port Harcourt.

When he saw that I wasn't forthcoming, he suggested we use a platform that offered escrow services.

Being familiar with Alibaba Trade Assurance and their escrow services, I accepted. He quickly added me to another Telegram group.
For those who may not understand how escrow services work, let me explain.

An escrow is money held in trust by a neutral third party for two parties involved in a business deal in which trust is an issue.

Example, if you use Alibaba Trade Assurance to pay for goods in China, that money is held by Alibaba until you've received your goods and certified them okay before it's released to the supplier.
Now, I wanted to know the credentials of the group and that of the third party who happened to be the admin.

First, there were 360 members in the group, with a pinned message in which the admin warns all participants in the most severe, blood-chilling terms to be careful to avoid being defrauded.

He warned that all conversations between all parties must be carried out in the group for every one of the 360 members to witness, and that he charged N500 for all monies paid into his account as escrow.
Of course, calculations of every exchange and the receipts of all monies paid to the admin must be made available in the group.

I scrolled through the messages and pictures in the group to get a peek into the history of transactions.

I saw many receipts and joyful acknowledgements of payments between parties. Everyone is happy. What a wonderful group!
But I still had my doubts. I had to run a check on the admin's profile. His phone number was hidden, same as that of my guy who wanted to sell me dollars.

On Telegram, anyone can bear any strange name and hide their phone numbers depending on what motive they have.

The so-called admin was neither a government agency nor a person known to me. He was simply an 'Abubakar' screaming warnings to assert integrity.
My guy whose ID was as plain as 'S S' had, of course, prodded me repeatedly to re-initiate the chat we had in private in the group for the sake of openness. I had to play along.
I posted my offer and he, again, accepted, and asked me to publish the calculations, which I did. N1.4M

As soon as I published the amount, a private message came in from someone in the group.
He said, 'Bro, do you want to buy dollar from this group? Just no try am. Na scam. Once the admin confirms your money, they kick you out and block you.
'They scammed me but forgot to kick me out. I intentionally didn't leave the group...'
I thanked him for confirming my suspicion, and told him my guy's desperation outright spooky.
'Just ask him "Why did you scam my friend, and see what will happen",' the messenger advised.

I went back to the group, and simply announced that I'd like to continue with the transaction the following day.
Fiaam! That was how everything about the group vanished. My guy blocked me instantly.

I told the messenger I could no longer find the group, and he sent me a screenshot of my excommunication.
'So far tonight, I've stopped them from scamming 11 people! They won't find out what's hit them... I'll keep being here,' he concluded.

This is how Nigerian Yahoo boys ruin lives and answer Otunba, Odogwu, High Chief etc in the outer society.
This group is a vast network of fraudsters operating on the same rob-and-throw-out principle as one-chance bus.

They take advantage of the scarcity of forex in Nigeria, and cripple businesspeople and those desperate to leave the country.
I have told this story for your enlightenment and security. I urge you to read and share it.
The days are evil, so, we must be more wakeful than the fish to detect the multifarious dimensions of internet fraud in Nigeria.

Thanks to y'all that reached out to me earlier today on the auspicious occasion of my birthday. I appreciate each and everyone of you big time.

Can somebody tell me why the shops here are selling at different prices? Some Nigerians do the most but are always so quick to blame others for their woes. Why take advantage of every situation to extort people? Satchet peak milk and 3 crowns milk are both #150 according to you-know-who but there are people still selling it for #120 and #100 respectively. Nawa o!

    2. Happy Birthday..

Leave business people, you are not wearing their shoes so don't judge..
Do you want them to run business at a loss? Do you want the to hustle backwards?
Price of things are increasing every day, infact every hour, do you want them to sell in old price and not be able to restock? They have their shop rent and other expenses to consider, stop comparing them to the people who are not paying rent for shops because they are selling from one kpangolo made of zinc..

      The economy is a mess..

Its funny you're turning a blind eye to the people you supported that are the ones destroying the economy and blaming the victims and consequences of your support/actions

  8. Our community is devastated by today’s events and grateful for the swift actions of law enforcement. May the healing hands of God touch the lives of everyone involved and provide comfort during this difficult time.

In the face of such darkness, we must hold onto our faith and remember evil will not prevail. God will guide us through the darkest of times. Together, we will rise above this tragedy and stand firm in our commitment to love and support one another.

In times like these, our faith is tested, but it is also strengthened. We don’t always understand why things like this happen, but we know that God is in control.

  9. ...and if that day comes when you have to decide whether to continue or leave the marriage, please don't rush it.

I understand that when a marriage appears to have lost its purpose, it can become a burden that weighs you down and depresses you daily. Now imagine a feeling worse than that.... surely you don't want that.

That is what happens when one takes a decision that was not properly thought out, especially on something as important as leaving a marriage.

It is true that many people will just ask you to continue pushing without caring about how you feel but again, you have got to think this through.

I know you are tired, nothing is working and everything is leading to fights but please, don't leave your home without at least seeking help with it.

Very few pains can rival what you feel when you leave a marriage before discovering that the solution was right there in front of you but you didn't seek help in finding it.

It is your home, it is a big deal, think about it.

    1. I have read post from women saying if the opportunity arises, they don't mind reuniting to their ex divorced husband. Some already done, while some are still hoping.

What really happened as in changed?

Maybe it's not greener out there after all..

Again, just maybe some persons even on their weaknesses, are still better of with their caring and support than the ones met afterward.

Around 2012, I had parted ways with my friend, a relationship of three years plus. Though there was no bad blood between us and even after parting, we still communicate once in a while. Sometimes she calls to check up on me. Some other times she had asked for some financial assistance which I do respond to.

We haven't set eyes after we parted ways till date. She had asked severally for an invite to come and see me in PH but I kept on declining till she stopped talking about it.

So fast forward to 2022, she got married but the marriage was short lived. It parked up in less than one year precisely 2023.

She called and invited me when she was about getting married but I declined and only sent envelope. I don't attend such wedding. So when the marriage crashed, she also called to inform me. I felt bad about it, for she kept saying it wouldn't have been so if it was between us. I have told her to stop saying that. It's an emotional blackmail and I don't like it.

Last week she called and checked up on me. She was narrating how business patronage have become low. I told her it's almost everywhere.

Let me say this before I continue. She was a very good woman all through our dating. Though the women I have met after her have come close, but none has ever loved me the way she did. She was a different woman of her kind. She showed me true love. Very caring, respectful and treat me special. She's the type that believes in a better tomorrow. I had little to nothing when we started but she stood strong with me and also believed in me even when I had nothing. But she had a temperamental issue when she gets upset. It was the main reason we parted. Though she will always apologize afterward.

Things later picked up for me and we began living comfortably. When she lost her Dad, I sponsored 60% of the burial which made the mother requested to see the man doing all that. For the first time I traveled to her village for the burial and met with the mom. She was so excited seeing me. I was treated very special and welcomed nicely. I left the next day after she prayed for me and thanked me for the effort I put towards the burial. I was later informed she told her daughter she won't accept drinks from any man if it's not from me.

      Such is life... Unpredictable!!!!

So last week, she had called to check up on me and we spoke for some minutes. Getting to Friday night, I dreamt where I visited her. She was so excited to see me. She received and served me food exactly the way she had done in the past. We were still talking when a little noise woke me up.

      Pheeeeeew..... What a dream!!!!

show them how you want to be treated initially, a sensible man will grab.
The marriage I guess is meant to be enjoyed with the favor that follows it. It is not a crime to love or get married to someone and he turns you to a slave. Nobody deserves such treatment.
An abusive marriage if care is not taken will shatter you emotionally and may kill your self esteem.
Many have no love to give and love is not hard.

That change of actors, I don't think it's about issues sha, sometimes, the series gets boring and some actors leave to find more challenging and interesting roles outside, also that kundali Bhagya, the second Karan said he was too young to be a father of a twenty year old because the series was taking a 20 year generation leap.

As for Jodha and Akbar, like I said, Maham anga will die and Jodha will lose her twins, someone named zeenat will poison the children, Jalal will be so angry that he'd become a terror again, interesting times. Jodha will birth her son Salim later and they'd be happy again but Ruquaya will plot evil and turn his mind against his parents and he'd love her more than Jodha.

  33. Good Prayer Stella!!!

I may not have supported or voted for Ahmed Bola Tinubu but seeing what's going on in Nigeria, I am convinced there are forces, conspiracy and calculated effort by some powerful individuals and political elites to see his administration fail at all cost.

These attempts are not from Nigeria alone but also from the international level as well. I have a valid reasons for saying this and it's evident. Maybe one of this day I will write in details.

But then, it still won't exonerate the incompetency so far displayed by this government. They start with the wrong foot and are yet to get it right.

We'll keep talking for we want a better life for our children and everyone.

    1. Whatever forces may be at play, nothing takes away from the fact that the policies this government initiated are wrecking havoc on the economy. I desire above everything that this administration succeeds. But it is really becoming too much of a burden on everyone.

    2. Same way Adams Oshomole blamed Buhari"s regime for being part of the hardship Nigerians are facing now. Let them keep the blame aside and get Nigerians out of this shit. It's no more funny.

  35. TTC is a very devastating state to be in. I also have a cousin who is TTC, her husband cheats like it's nothing and she can't even bat an eyelid because she is scared of being chased out of the marriage. She believes she is the one with fertility issues because she has ovarian cyst.
May God give all TTC couples their glorious children.

    1. For ovarian cyst, not all are functional
She should endeavour to make hot water bottle with castor oil massage her routine when not on period or ovulating. She can check youtube for how it's done. Then take combo of ginger, garlic, clove, lemon soaked in water regularly.

      Delete
    2. Ovarian cyst does not cause barrenness, let her go and remove the cyst and also go for test with her husband because that man maybe shooting blank.

      Delete
    3. God will come through for her. I have been in her shoes so I know how hard it can be,not to now add a cheating, unsupportive husband on top of it all. Can't she do a surgery to remove the ovarian cyst if that's the problem? It's even dangerous as it can become twisted causing more damage.

      Delete
    4. Her husband is wicked, she shouldn't remain in that marriage though. Who knows if she leaves and remarries (if she pleases) she may just fall pregnant, a lot of these men shoot blanks, because of their life styles. Secondary infertility amongst men is on the increase due to several factors, promiscuity being one of them.

  37. Pinky the Pinky. Wehdone sir

The woman with a TTC SIL, have you asked her if she and her husband have gone for tests?
That was how I was looking for another baby, dragged my hubby to lab for tests. We both treated different things at the end of the day. This was after he bragged that he was fine.

  38. Spontaneous BV post, relax. At least you are financially independent, make plans to travel around the world. Alone or in a group. Enjoy yourself and don't be desperate or else you will attract gold-diggers.

Hanty took the piece, went to the living room, threw it into her mouth and came back smiling at me. Hanty is less than 2. This madam na character. When she left with the piece, I was actually happy she got the message, not knowing she had a different agenda.

    Dear Harmattan,

Thanks for taking your leave albeit abruptly, for your weather prints are still everywhere - cough, runny nose, cracked feet, dust, etc

You left as if you were being chased, like a common criminal πŸ’… Anyways, let me spread my heat waves maliciously because I remembered some BVs arrogantly preferring you to me, BVs like Paris Savannah, Courage and Phoenix 😑😑😑

  45. Nigeria 1 v 2 Ivory Coast

    10 Thoughts.

    1. The occasion overwhelmed the boys. Ola Aina who had been solid all through suddenly couldn't handle a one on one. Calvin Bassey looked shaky. Ajayi was confused. In short the whole team was disjointed. Even the compactness that carried them this far was missing.

    2. Why did Zaidu make a return to the starting line up? God! Watch their first goal and you will see him brazenly leave the post that he was marking and blindly challenge for a ball out of reach. Post that the rule is you MAN IT TILL THE CORNER THREAT IS OVER. Header that enters exactly where he left! That bastid has been a calamity from day one. He always make me want to throw off tribalist slurs.

    3. That referee will ask God for bread and my Lord will give him agbada wey Tinubu don piss inside to chew. For He is a Just God.

    4. Like my guy Dhee Sylvester said on Twitter, Haram, jakujaku football is only sweet when you are winning. Because na the high of that win dey cover up the 99 issues wey full your team. And tonight, of all nights, all the issues came out and refused to be smothered by yet another smash and grab result.

    The coach should go.

    5. The Ivorians deserved to win. They may not have needed the ref to help them to do it but they deserved to win. More importantly they scored two clear undisputed goals. They showed more hunger, more fight, more cohesion and more urgency. They are better representatives of African football with their performance tonight. Congratulations to them and to their fine warrior of a striker Haller, who beat cancer, beat the angel of death, beat an imminent group stage exit and has now beaten the Super Eagles. Keep winning, King.

    6. I have seen enough to be able to boldly say Iwobi will NEVER be anything but an iron condemn player. The quicker we bin the bastid and start looking for proper creative midfielders, the better for our world cup qualifying ambitions.

    7. Nigeria Police Force in case you need help opening a fraud case against one boy named Chukwuweze, kindly inbox me. I will take you to the shed where the carpenter was doing apprenticeship before escaping to begin disguising as a footballer.

    8. Troost Ekong will need 2 bad beeshes to massage am thoroughly because the poor man's back would be paining him from carrying this team right from the first game. I feel sad for him but that's life. Sometimes you come so far, come so close, work so hard, give your all, feel your dreams within reach, and yet...yet...
Good thing he won player of the tournament. Most deserving award ever.

9.I curse the day Jay Jay Okocha opened his detty mouth and declared Iwobi as his nephew. Because ever since then they keep playing him by force, looking for a lion inside monkey body.

    10. All in all it is a fantastic tournament. African football has come a long way. Although there's still work to be done, the promise and potentials are there. I'm happy to have witnessed all of this. The skills and the magic. The ruggedness and the ruthlessness. The shocks and the surprises. The highs and the crushing lows. As my Zulu friend would say, Phila isikhathi eside Afrika πŸ™ŒπŸΏπŸ™ŒπŸΏ.
