I am not even sure how to handle this with my clients. Everyone please stay connected with your ppl, even those who appear to have it together. Looks can be deceiving. Someone's father, someone's husband and head of family just killed in such a gruesome way by an animal he has been nurturing for 9years😢 it's so pathetic.

DeleteWhy are Chinese people stingy with food. We had a function yesterday at a Chinese restaurant. A table of 10 persons. They served 4 plates of rice. My village people were asking me to carry one plate but I decided to respect myself waiting for them to bring for everyone. Few minutes later one man took spoon and scooped from the plate of rice in front of me, another woman scooped from same plate too. That is how this people served 10 persons 4 plates of rice with something that looks like suya cut in small pieces steaming in a small plate and one bottle of hollandia type of drink and collected 70k. When I heard the price. I refused to eat. Maka gini? Rice that cannot belleful a 2yrs old girl. That suya type of meat is not up to N500.00 suya in my area. Maybe we paid for the AC.

Wash and pit it,dry it well and blend to powder then store in an airtight glass cup.
Your family won't touch sugar anymore.

Wash thoroughly dry tigernuts and dry ginger,dry up again and blend.
Make with little water in a deep pot on fire like semovita.
It's healthier than custard but makes you real drowsy because of the alcohol.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm. Same thing happened to my aunt and all her emails were ignored. She filed a complaint with the labour board and that is the only thing that seems to be working. But labour matters can take years to be resolved. Unless you have a good relationship with the CEO don’t bother sending an email, seek legal recourse through the labour board or a labour lawyer but be prepared for a long wait. Make sure you have a legit case before starting the process.

Thanks to everyone who commented. I may not get the job back but I really do feel the need to reach out. I do not have the power for lawsuit and the labor board wahala. I just want to let them know that the reason for termination was purely out of retaliation, discrimination and prejudice. They just wanted all Nigerians out of that organization and it's working. But al is well.

ReplyDeleteGist: There was a physical altercation at my new place of hustle today. What caused the fight? Make I gist una.
ReplyDeleteThere is this woman who sells biscuits, drinks and these lil lil provision in the compound. She should be in her 50s if I'm not mistaken and then there's this other lady who sells egg rolls and fish pie who should be in her let's say, 🤔mid to late 20s or worse case, early 30s.
I noticed that the egg roll lady talks to people rudely in the name of cracking jokes.
She doesn't care who is involved, she can insult anyone, and because I hate insults from younger folks, I avoid talking to her or even patronizing her. Reason being that you never know when she'll serve you your own bowl of insult. I dey always dey my lane.😂😂
Now, let me give you a little info about the provision seller. She doesn't like to mind her business. She interferes in issues that aren't her concern and she doesn't know where to draw the line.
Ok! Back to the gist. We were all minding our various businesses and looking out for clients, when this egg roll seller started arguing with one guy about 300n. She claimed that the guy didn't pay her for the eggroll he bought from her the previous day and the guy was arguing that he paid her. Both of them were arguing beside the provision woman's stand. They kept going back and forth until the woman interfered and told the lady that the guy has paid her.
This infuriated the eggroll lady and she started telling the woman to mind her business as she wasnt there as at the time of their transaction.
The provision woman refused to back out and the argument escalated to the point that they started yelling at each other.🤦
At this point, the guy who caused the argument had stepped away from them as their argument led to full fledged quarrel with the eggroll lady pointing her hand in the woman's face and warning her to steer clear and mind her business.
Before anyone could say Jack Robinson, the woman slapped the eggroll lady!😳😳 and was asking her why she should be putting her finger in her face, if she is her mate!
The eggroll lady became more furious and was asking the woman, what if I slap you back! And beat you here?
The woman was still talking when she hijacked the woman and flung her to the ground, pinning her down. She held the woman down and the woman couldn't get off her grip until people came to separate them. She had the opportunity to beat shege out of the woman's body but she didn't, she only wanted to show her that she was stronger than her. I guess she remembered that she still had a little home training and shouldn't be fighting her aunt's mate.
Now, my SDKville people, who is wrong in this matter? 🤷🤷
Is it the woman who didn't mind her business by interfering in a matter that didn't concern her, thereby provoking the young lady?
Or it is the mannerless eggroll lady who couldn't control her temper by pointing her fingers in the face of a much older woman, warning her?🤔🤔🤔

I went there to get some water yam , right there in the in the public a robber snatch a phone and purse from a lady and nobody did anything while the victim was shouting. . I tried to help but I was warned that I might be stab with knife by the thief .
