EX SGF Boss Mustapha Says EX President Buhari's Did Not Approve $6.2 million For Election

The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, testified that neither he nor former President Muhammadu Buhari authorized the disbursement of $6.2 million to international election observers.

Mustapha revealed that both his signature and that of Buhari were forged by those who withdrew the funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria on February 8, 2023. He denied any involvement or knowledge of the transaction and questioned the authenticity of the document
The ongoing trial involves the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, who faces charges related to the alleged disbursement.

*At the point eh, Emefiele should start talking and let us know if he was sent or he did it himself, the monies taken with fake signature is too much nah....

  1. i have read or listened to a lot of comments on this issue and as usual, people's comments are still largely determined by their tribe and religion, you hear them say Buhari should be brought to court before they believe that it is not a set up against Mr. Emefiele.
Just to remind us of the story, Mr. Onyeka Ogbu, a deputy director, branch operations at the Central Bank of Nigeria said he released the $6.23M cash based on a memo from the former CBN governor, attached to the memo was a letter of authorisation from the then president Buhari.
The SGF said the government has never paid election monitors for coming to do such assignments in Nigeria, and that he was not aware of any such transaction as SGF, he also said President Buhari never ended any of his official letters with ' Please accept with my highest regard”.
$6.23m cash was stolen from our coffers but all some tribal/religious/political bigots and activists want to do is try to shift the blame on others, yet they pretend that they want a better Nigeria

    2. Anon9:21 so in your view who between Mustapha and Emefiele is saying the truth?

  2. So you people are saying there are no processes for financial requisitions and approvals? Can the Buhari's administration ever take responsibility for any financial recklessness? What's going on!

  3. Dem don run Emefiele street. Even if that letter actually emanated from the office of the SGF, does Emefiele have any proof or documentary evidence?

Q2: Was the transaction captured on camera?

Q3: Did Emefiele confirm from PMB if he actually gave the approval?

Emefiele was just plain stupid that's all...I thought he was wiser as an intellectual.

  4. Okonjo iweala had verified emails and letters to justify the illegal and ridiculous withdrawals she was instructed to carry out so her case died quickly as the legal hook she stuck in her oga's throat was being pulled with every tug on her own wrist.

But, enter Mr Mugu who thought he will dispense his way to the presidency.

The man should also be tried and treated for a serious case of iberiberism.

  5. Who then authorised the payment?
