Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

Hmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
LOST AND FALLING INTO DEPRESSION

How can I become more closer to God and shun all sins, especially sins of the flesh? How can I regain the zeal to live and work hard to achieve my goals and dreams?.
How can I ask for forgiveness and start on a new slate?
I have lost the zeal to live. Nothing excites me anymore. I don't have the strength to do anything meaningful with my life. I think I'm getting depressed.
I go to therapy but I know that something is missing and that something is God's love, grace and mercy.
I need God in my life and to start living again and not just existing. Mindlessly scrolling on Instagram or blogs when I should focus on my studies and saving instead of wasting money smoking cigarettes.
I just need to be motivated again and do right by God.
I crave a relationship with God and His Son Jesus. Without them I am nothing.
How can I start living in Christ and stop procrastinating? How can I ask for forgiveness and this time truly live according to God's Word?

WOW...You know the problem and the solution but cant apply it...
Can anyone teach anyone how to find God? I thought that is a personal Journey ?Let me leave those who know the way to show you. I wish you all the best and i pray that you find peace and find God and let go of everything hurting you.
All the best ...

  1. Poster I can imagine how feel and acknowledging that you need something deeper. I believe your solution is around the corner....

I will advise you to read this book ''The purpose driven life'' by Rick Warren and "Good morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn....It will spur you to take some actions.....You need to be intentional about your actions cause people in the same state as you are exposed to charlatans or could be lured into a CULT disguising as a church.....

Call upon God through his son Jesus Christ in a simple prayer ''Lord I want to know you more, come into my life and make it a new''....

Download those lovely praise and worship songs from Ron Kenoly, Lionel Peterson, Micah Stampley e.t.c and keep praising God earnestly..Continue this for 3 weeks and it will become a lifestyle for you...

    All the best...

  2. " just as you are, come to Jesus". You do not have to do anything. Yes you go to Jesus smoking, go to him lazy, go to him procrastinating; just go.
Stop putting pressure on yourself, if you find it difficult to go to church, start by listening to sermons online. Pray and ask God to change you. Ask God to let the Holy spirit into you. I promise you, gradually, you will change. Just start by listening to the word, read the bible even if it's 2 minutes a day and pray.

  3. Poster dear, let me give you a big hug first 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Now confess your sins to God and best believe He hears you! The Bible say in Heb 4:6 "let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace ,that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" so approach God's throne with boldly and obtain mercy in the manifestation of grace

Then ask the HolySpirit to help you..in Jh 14:26 the Bible says The HolySpirit is our Comforter, Counselor,Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener,Standby ...so the Sweet HolySpirit is all in one whom you can talk to and find peace within you...just bear out your heart genuinely to Him and He will teach you and come through for you🙌🙌

I pray for God's speedy intervention for you

    All the best ♥️

  4. Go and see a therapist. Your healing and renewal begins when you break free from those things that set you back. You are physically fit but no longer emotionally fit. The earlier the better before it goes deep. Sin of flesh combines with 'smoke'., as you described it's already a habit , you have to fight to conquer to get yourself back.

  6. Your perception of who Jesus is is what is keeping you in guilt and condemnation. He loves you too deeply to give up on you, and even if you are not there yet, sincerely ask him to help you. He will, tell Him all about the way you feel, your fears and anxiety and trust me, He will uphold you.
Try to watch and listen to pastor Femi Lazarus on YouTube or Facebook, you'll be transformed.

  7. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:16-18
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
    Praise the Lord 💃💃

  9. Firstly, you have to accept that you are human and likely will never be sin free as long as you live in a society. If you are seeking to shun all sins then you would have to give up the world and isolate yourself or join a convent or some such order to be away from temptations and the sight and sounds of the world.

I cannot tell you how to find God because the kingdom of God is already within you. The Christ already gave us the recipe. Be born anew, take your eyes away from the things of the world, put your eyes upo the things of the spirit, love your neighbour as yourself, do unto others have you would have them do unto you. Do regular fasting and prayer, do not put yourself in dangerous situations and keep friendships with likeminded ppl.

  10. The type of madness I see around shows many don't have sense at all.

In a neighborhood where you don't know who is who, one will wake up, stay in his house to command someone in another compound. How to live her life ,who to open door for or how long you will stay in your house not like he pays your bill . sounds crazy right??

The audacity to tell you who to be friends with, pushing his fellow sick heads( strangers) for you to take care of and forcing them on your throat.

Even feel they have right in your working place, like they can sack you or replace you not like they own the business. Not all that wears cloth is normal.

Well packaged 'agbero' people that think city is their village.Anybody they see around have become family and friends.
They never know there is a place meant for lunatics.

  11. You already have a feeling in your heart that God is the one missing in your life. You also know that you're probably 'running' away from him but can't summon the courage and make a decision to seek his help. You need to calm down, accept the situation and accept that you're probably the worst person and come clean and open to him. God steps in when we accept we cannot do it on our own. Cry if you need to and pour out your heart to him. Tell him you're nothing without him and can't make it without his intervention. In all, it's not going to be a walk in the park. You have to be consistent, hopeful and believing. With time, you will look back and it will all be a thing of the past.

  12. Exactly! Your perception of who Jesus is is everything besides you need to understand that it's not in your strength to let go of sin for sin itself is a force so handover the process to HIM. Commit to prayers and bible study there's so much power in the study of God's word that the Devil doesn't want us to access.

  14. Matthew 11:28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Dear Póster, Go to God in prayer sincerely, he will bring the right people into your world, connect you to the right community, things will just begin to align. Sincerely seek him in prayer and use devotionals to study the Word he will meet you right there in that place where you're seeking him and show you how to come out of it all. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

  15. Life without God and the leading of the Holy Spirit is empty. Living life without Jesus is emptiness and misery. The presence of God in one's life make the difference. I am speaking from experience: My life is meaningful because God is in the equation! Even when I do broke (cash wise), I don't feel empty. And God miraculously provides for me, to the point that sometimes it's "dropping" that I am left in awe... Try doing your life God's way, and see His wonders

  20. Just one affliction from God will reset your brain lol, just wait. When you get afflicted you will know that the only solution is to leave a life acceptable to God. When you are ready to surrender to God, there will be no need for constantly asking for forgiveness. Just repent and move on with your good life, God that searches the heart knows if you have genuinely repented or not . That constant asking for forgiveness makes one to keep going back to the things they promised never to go back to . If you have truly repented, keep going with your good works, Jesus will search your heart to know if you really repented and are willing to stay true to him.

  21. Life is not easy.
    Poster you can do it.
Start taking baby steps, invite the Holy spirit, speak aloud in confessing your faith and condemning what you don't want to do anymore.
    You are getting there already.
Always find your way to the gatherings of the saints by attending to and listening to gospel that will edify and grow your spirit man.
Flesh is weak but when your spirited is lifted you can overcome

  22. Poster is depressed not only that he is depressed he wants to fix his spiritual life. From what he mentioned ' sin of flesh and 'smoke' is what he feels that denies him that.
He doesn't need only prayers but a therapist. He needs both spiritual, mental and emotional healing.
    He needs a rehab session.

  23. I will suggest you start the simplest; talk to Him like you are chatting with a friend, find a quiet place, pour your heart to Him, gist Him of how the break has been, what you missed about Him, and express yourself the way you can for now, He understands and will be happy to have you back.
Download and listen to Apostle Selman and Femi Lazarus. I pray you find solace and the light you a readout rekindling burns to the very last day, may the good Lord preserve your steps, and flood your path with His light, guard you jealousy till you appear before Him

  24. I think you need a mentor. Someone that would hold your hands through it all. Start attending church. Maybe you would find one there. All the best

  25. Everything you have written, say it to God.
Talk to him like you would your counsellor, friend and father.

While praying, read Psalms 15,16, 32, 51 and 63. Meditate on it.

Read your Bible at least a few minutes a day and also download Bible apps.

Change your habits. Try to do the opposite of things you would normally do. Go for a walk to clear your head, and join the gym if there is one in your neighbourhood(not to gain muscles) it aids mental well-being as well. Make sure you are listening to gospel songs while performing these activities.

Watch faith-based movies like The Champion, overcomer, I Believe etc

Follow faith-based channels on YouTube and change your musical playlist to gospel ones. You need to feel your soul.

Restructure your routine and download helpful apps on the Play Store that help combat procrastination.

Don't make friends with people whose lifestyles differ from the godly path you are walking on.

Join a Church and be active. Your spiritual life would improve. Besides, having like-minded people who know you notice your presence and check on you in your absence, would influence you to step out more and be active.

Take baby steps, don't exert pressure on yourself. You may relapse but that is evidence that you are making an effort so keep going and I assure a few months from now you will notice the difference.
