Actor Kanayo.O.Kanayo Tells Parents Not To Accept Their Children's Wealth Without Asking Questions

Nollywood Actor Kanayo.O.Kanayo has cautioned parents against turning a blind eye to the source of their Children's wealth and not asking them questions.

He made this disclosure at a program, where he decried the fact that some children, who have no reliable job, will come back home with expensive phones and cars and their parents will ask no questions.

He claimed that it remains the major cause of the deaths of many parents,as most of these parents will go to church to give testimonies for their Children's wealth, instead of questioning them on how they acquired the wealth.

He maintained that as a parent, it is wrong to do so and they should always condemn it.

In his words:

"Your daughter is 20,she no dey work, she cari phone of 1.5 million, you said 'hehhh, praise the Lord,my daughter has bought phone' and then she would dash you 200 thousand and you didn't ask questions;you won't live long. That is what is killing a lot of parents.

Your son who is not working comes with a kind of money and a kind of car and you don't ask questions, am warning you parents, you don't know whether your son killed to own that kind of car, you don't know which devil your daughter collected that phone from, you praise God and then accepts whatever she brings, parents it's a warning am giving you".

This is my neighbor ooo. A son of 25 years old who dropped out of Babcock University with his yahoo hair can afford two iPhones for the younger ones, a very big industrial generator, a very recent Toyota car but they see nothing bad in what he does. The mother boasts of all the things he buys for them. But in all, they are doing well. Maybe because the father is a pastor and the mother an evangelist so they pray for forgiveness of sins

  5. 100% correct. I have always said this anywhere I have the opportunity. Some parents will even be abusing their child that is doing right thing if that child cannot see their mates that you don't know their source of income.

  7. As a student, I fed my family. My mother didn't ask any questions and i no give any explanations. Now as an adult i know better, that was bad parenting. How do you call a student and be lamenting family problems to her and begging her to help you solve them? I had rich guys around me and would sleep with them, collect the money and send home. Thank God for mercy and grace today

  10. So many parents aren't ready for this conversation...some are even enablers, they don't care so far there's influx of cash and they're living in affluence...times have changed, while growing up, you dare not ! You will be disowned and disgraced by your parents but now, most parents don't have the decency to train their kids well, have lost morals and parental discipline

  11. For where? They don't care this days. Majority don't care. I have seen many people who spoke against the act but when their child starts making money like others they still didn't reprimand them.

It takes parents with very high moral standard to reject offers from their children when they come home with questionable possessions and wealth.

You see them testifying in the church about how their child bought a car and built a house for them... and pastor will also collect his own share by demanding for seed offerings.

I saw many families in the village this December who went to do thanksgiving in church about how their sons went to 'pita ego' in Ghana, Malaysia, etc

  14. Most of these parents know. Let's be real, they already know, they just turn a blind eye. This question is for the principled upright living folks who live by a strong moral rule. However, sufferation will turn even the most upright into a vision of themselves, so even many who had strong morals have fallen because of unmet needs. And in the current economy many will fall.

The whole economic system of the globe needs to be reshaped, it was designed by the minds of colonists and ensures the vast majority of ppl on the planet will suffer while a few thrive. It's a terrible system that robs ppl of their dignity and self-worth just to survive on the planet.

  16. Good one KOK. Most parents are the ones forcing their children into odd life just to make money. They compare them with other children and take pride in showcasing ill gotten wealth. The society is not helping too. Just make money anyhow and you will be respected all your sins forgiven . It seems the old money rituals where parents are used as sacrifice to make more money is no more working. All the yahoo boys I know have money and their parents are living their life in good health.

  17. Where is the lie? Most patents are enablers! They don’t even want to know where their sons and daughters that don’t have anything doing will bring home a car and you see them jubilating . It’s so ,so sad 😞.
