If you are WISE, you won't take praises of humans too seriously. Because the same people who HAIL you, will NAIL you!
It isn't bad to be praised. However, if you attach expectations and sentiments to such things, you will end up disappointed. Everytime!

Good Morning One Big and Happy Family, hope we all had a goodnight rest?
Am so heart broken since on Saturday night, lost my dearest and closes Uncle on Saturday, very young guy of about 45yrs, his my daddy's lastborn and we are so very close and he lives in Owerri with his family.
So on Saturday at around 6pm someone called him to come and supply iceblock at releave market in Owerri, when they were loading the block, he sat down somewhere and was complaining about his stomach, the thing got serious and within the space of 3mins, my beloved uncle has become a dead man, this came as a very Big shock to my family, community and friends, I suspected something has gone wrong when I started receiving calls from some of my aunties and uncles that has not called me for a very long time.

Greetings fam. I trust we had a good night rest. If you're into buying and selling, please be very vigilant oo. A well dressed young lady walked into my shop yesterday afternoon to buy some foodstuffs. As I turned to get one of the items she requested for, I didn't know that she had picked one stock fish and hurriedly put it inside her bag, unknown to her that my son saw her.

When it was time to calculate what she bought, she deliberately omitted the stock fish. My son then told me "mummy, you didn't include the stock fish". I became confused because I didn't know she took it. At this point, the young lady admitted she took the stock fish & then paid for it. Make una de shine una eyes oo, otherwise......

Spiritual healing takes place when you're able to confess your problem to someone mature enough to handle it and committed enough to not give up on you. What does it mean to 'walk in love'? (a) To be confident of God's unfailing love towards you. (b) To show his love to others. (c) To be able to accept their love in return. Only then can you become spiritually whole. You can only be loved to the extent that you're known. When you keep part of your life a secret, others may tell you they love you, but deep inside you think, 'If you knew the whole truth about me, you wouldn't love me.' So, you're unable to receive and be strengthened by their love.

Sin isolates us, and sin and isolation will make us sick in our soul, and even our body. Confession and then prayer, connectedness to each other and to God, ushers in the Spirit and promotes healing. To be fully known and fully loved is the most healing gift we can give to each other. The Bible says, 'Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed' (James 5:16 TLB).

No one can be secure in a relationship if they're loved only because they're intelligent, strong, pretty or successful. One Bible teacher says: 'When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find it is those who instead of giving advice, solutions or cures have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.'

TOPIC: IT SHALL BE WELL I

MEMORISE:

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

ISAIAH 3:10

10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

MESSAGE:

The old year has just passed with all its ups and downs. There is a tendency to think that things will remain the same or even become worse based on man's projections and forecasts. However, according to our Bible reading today, I speak into your life and declare that, "It shall be well with you!"

As assuring as this prophetic message from the Lord is, we must not lose sight of the truth embedded in our Bible reading: it is the righteous that will be singled out for wellness. Our memory verse for today affirms this as well. Beloved, I encourage you to live righteously in this new year if you want it to be well with you, your family, your business, your finances, and everything that concerns you.

One question you might, however, be asking yourself is, "How can one be righteous in this perverse generation when the Bible says in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God?" The answer to this question is very simple; the Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, God will forgive us, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, will cleanse us from all sin. Isaiah 64:6 also says:

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The above scriptures establish the truth that we cannot cleanse ourselves and become acceptable to God by our own efforts; only the righteousness of God, which is obtainable through Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, is acceptable to God (Philippians 3:3-9).

Truly, many forecasts have projected that the year may be challenging, but I assure you that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under His shadow (Psalm 91:1), and they will be shielded from any evil that may be lurking ahead. The Bible, however, clearly says that God cannot behold iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13). This implies that you must have the righteousness of God through Christ if you want to access the secret place of the Most High.

As you surrender your life to Jesus and walk in His righteousness all through this year and beyond, I decree once again that all shall be well with you.

KEY POINT:

Those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will enjoy all-round well-ness for the rest of their lives.

I came across a question on the net and thought to bring it here 😁.
If you boarded a vehicle and after a while, a "babalawo" said there's an accident ahead and actually alighted from the vehicle while a pastor in the same vehicle is saying there's no accident ahead that the driver should drive on,
As a passenger in that vehicle, would you continue with the journey or you'd follow the babalawo?
