Real Estate Company Reacts To Property Scam Alert By Nigerian Man Abroad

There is currently some kind of ALLEGED property scam levelled against Revolution Plus Property Limited by a man named Mr. Kayode Oladipo who lives outside of Nigeria.

Mr. Oladipo, accused Revolution Plus Real Estate and its Managing Director, Bamidele Onalaja, of scamming him of over N40 million. He claimed that he paid the money to the firm in 2017 for 20 plots of land, but the firm hasn’t allocated any land to him. In a video that is currently trending, he called on the Nigerian government to intervene, and even threatening suicide.

In response to the video, Revolution Plus Properties released a press statement on its Instagram account, refuting the allegations. The company claimed that Mr. Oladipo owed outstanding balances for the purchased plots and stated that there were also discrepancies in his narration about the transaction. They clarified that Mr. Oladipo bought some plots of land with them in his name and on behalf of some persons buying through him, but defaulted in payment and still has an outstanding amount.

  1. he has not completed his payment buy crying that he is yet to get his property. I hope he is still alive to share his own part of the store, so that government can come in. But Revolution plus plus you should have allocated the customer who completed their payment and not say when the person is ready you will give the land to them.

  2. Mr Kayode, over to you. Were you informed of or did you read the caveat about non allocation of land till you make full payment? Their explanation is kind of straight forward, let's hear your differing opinion.
Anything landed property like this, one need to be careful and get both facts and documentation in order.

    2. I've heard so many negative stories about them. If he didn't pay complete, estimate how many plots he should get based on the amount he paid and allocate to him. Why wait for more online dragging?

  4. Whenever we complain, it is better to tell the full story.
One fact out of turn gives the slippery other party to wriggle out of the grip of our complaint.
Let them give him the number of plots covered by what he paid for.
    Story!

    1. A friend residing abroad sent me a document from one of these property managers. Omo, I had to tel him to relax till he comes home and sees the land in reality. Their clause was, even if you paid up but aren’t available for a certain period of time, the land will be resold and you will get about 75-85% of your money back over a period of time ooooo πŸ™„. You can’t buy and resell without their knowledge. They must be a part of the sale and also get a certain % from the new owner.

  6. Allocate to him what his payment cover. While hold on to such cash and nothing to show for it?

You should have reviewed his allocation to give him what he has paid for. His fears is paying up to 40M and nothing to show for it.

You will be shocked that the Estate thing man paid for is sold out and he can't get allocation in it now.

I believe the man πŸ’―. This particular real estate company is into shady deals: this is not the first time I will be hearing such complaints from customers. What they do is collect money from more people than the available landed properties in their possession, then they start playing games when it's time for property allocation because they don't have enough lands. I am surprised people are still patronizing this very real estate company. If you are still considering patronizing them, don't try it - if you don't want to fall into depression. May God intervene on behalf of this man, in Jesus mighty name, and give him justice πŸ™

    1. They've agreed that he paid so that isn't in contention. Their argument is that he didn't pay the complete money he signed up for. If his payment covers 3 plots instead of the 5 agreed, allocate him the 3 plots and save yourself more internet drama. Their name don dey spoil dey go.
