ReplyDeleteLol those days ehn😬 but I'm grateful to God that my kids are totally different, like once they clock one year they don't wee when sleeping,if you like wear them diaper or not they will not wee as long as they are sleeping till they wake up. I've never brought out mattress to sun dry since I started giving birth and I don't wake them up in the night to wee, even when they take tea or juice before bedtime they will never wet the bed but on rare occasion when they feel the urge to wee they will wake me up, omoh at a point I told my husband we should take them to hospital cos how can a toddler sleep throughout the night everyday without wetting the bed and even be the one to wake you up when the feel the urge,my husband said I'm looking for problem where there's none

This happened till I got to jss3, my best friend then in boarding school used to help me spread my mattress and washed my clothes then. I went to a mixed school and it was a secret my best friend and my room mates helped me in concealing. We were having fun in class that day and a guy my best friend had a crush on was saying mean things to her, simply because she confided in one of his friends that she liked him. I was doing defender of the universe insulting this guy on behalf of my friend o, with a lot of watching us exchange words I noticed my friend kept on telling me to leave him and let's get out I refused o. Only for this boy to shout on top of his lungs that I am a bedwetting, omo I denied it o, him and his friends burst laugh saying my best friend told them I dey bedwet when he told her he will date her if she could get me to date one of his friends too. That was the most embarrassing moment in my life. Surprisingly that day marked the end of bed wetting o. I forgave her, but the friendship wasn't as before, didn't date anyone throughout because I was scared they just wanted to humiliate me. The irony of life is the guy that embarrassed got married to my cousin and his friend that wanted to date me then has been the best friend, cheerleader, amazing father and husband to me for the past 9 years.

DeleteThe day I stopped that was the day my mum told my classmates (that came to check on me and why I didn’t come to school) that do they know I still owe on the bed at night. Omo I dead and woke up😂😂😂, and whenever I pee I’d always see myself peeing in my dream and when I wake up I don piss for body.

Imagine someone menstruating and still wetting the bed.... It was that bad.
I remembered one night, my aunt disgraced me eh. I cried where I way laying down. Our guest now told her that it's spiritual. We should pray against it. And it would leave.
My aunt dismissed It, that my sister was the same thing. That was why she left boarding house. I felt real pain.
Next day our maths teacher came to the class and told everyone that one of us still pee and she looked straight at me. Everyone was shouting not me, not me.
Ahhhhh.
She said she won't call the person, so the person doesn't feel shy. But from today, it over. Omo, everyone shouted amen o.
People of God. Since that very day. I never wet the bed again.
My aunt was surprised. Like, with all the disgrace, sleeping on the floor and wood no foam. I didn't stop. What happened?
I don't know. But God saved me.
It's not easy. No grown person wants to wet the bed.
Hmmmmm, just iast week here I was wishing stella should do a post on bed wetting. Came online now to see this. It's so Embarrassing to say the least. I am 39 years now with two kids yet bed wet sometime. It's nice t some thing to even about
