The bouquet is no more than 20,000 Naira.
A 3 million Naira cheque can be written by anyone...but can it be cashed without bouncing?!
The "designer" items are obviously fake!

So... she is saying yes to a man that values projection of being moneyed, rather than actually having money! It's a false image!

    4. Anon 13:07, looking at the handbag picture, I don't know if that's a cake or just an inscription saying "I said Yes to forever",did she already say 'Yes' before he proposed or this is just a well planned PR stunt? Don't get tensioned by anything on these internet streets oh, the more you look, the less you see.

  5. Nigeria will never jump into this method as a way or proposing to their gfs, once is any bad thing they will trend with it. No need to even make it a method so that babes will not have reasons why they will not say yes to a broke man.

I am not cut out from this trend of you must use money to propose to me, use a good ring and just be real. Is what you will offer me after i said yes that matters to me.

  7. Which luxury designer wraps its products in plastic?
The chain and clasp attached to the mis-shapen 'Alhambra' motifs tells me bracelet is not real Van Cleef & Arpels.

I haven't even seen the video, but everything in the screenshots is FAKE!!! I'm sure he bought the items off Temu or AliExpress.

I would be weary of a man that presents fake designer items, in the hopes of looking like a "big boy". He certainly doesn't cut his coat according to his size, as he is trying to project an image that he obviously cannot afford or sustain!

      The wrapped handle
A CHEQUE out of all possible options
      The ring

They have some things in common including obsession with public opinion and limited knowledge of 'luxury' brands.

  14. @ SMH, don't give bitterness a chance, what.!!!
Her man is definitely rich to proposed to her with those items. To you it may look big ,but to the rich dude it may be little.

You don't know their love story, giving her those items means she deserves it all.
Wish them well and keep it going.

I know we all come from different backgrounds, but if you honestly cannot tell real from fake, then there's no need to go back and forth with you. If him gifting his girlfriend fake designer items signifies richness to you, then so be it.
      Have a good afternoon!
