    1. I told someone a decade ago that our generation will have high divorce rate

I wasn't trying to be negative; but merely observant.

When our generation started jumping into marriages just to please peers, families and tick register; I knew many will pack up with time.

Our mindset is totally different from our parents who such marriages worked for because of the mindset that was prevalent in their time.

      May God help us all...

    2. Modern Nigerian women are soo successful with marriage. What we see sitting down, you will never see standing. Y'all haven't seen anything yet. If you like, take your husband for granted. Talk down on him. Argue with him. Neglect him all you want... Your file is coming to our table soon. We have a Judy ready to give him peace

      From the desk of,
      You already know

    3. You already know who!

      What an intelligent submission

All marriages end because women talk down on men. Argue with them and neglect them.

      Take him

      Juju have him

Some women ji nku would be glad to go on a boat cruise regularly.

Dine at choice restaurants without the stress of having a hot meal ready for her lord and master every evening

Glad to get away from weekend / monthly shopping at oyingbo and Mile 12.

Glad to hop on a plane to holiday destinations with their hard earned money which has been stashed away to acquire joint property

Glad to make new friends and embark on business trips and discuss with men at negotiation tables sweetly eyeball to eyeball.

Gosh finally some women can get their permanent eyebrows done.

Build the sweet little bungalow they always dreamt of with a long driveway and lots of trees leading up to the entrance of the home!

Juju by ALL MEANS Take him please.

Now some of us can set up the foundations to give back to society, mentor young people btw the ages of 15-25 Set up the academies they currently run out of their homes on a larger scale and just L-I-V-E till the creator calls

If marriage is all about your ego ...

Marriage can be a hassle when you are an achiever with a non achiever as a spouse.

And one more thing some of us no get time for social media dragging no need to pepper him, I'd sign the damn papers silently and glide on to live the life of my dreams!

JUJU GOD BLESS YOUR UNION in advance...but this heifer is done!!!

      Godbless

    5. Annoymous 19: 45, you said you would find men their new Judy, I thought it was a new man you would find for them so it is still a woman that you would still find for them. This Yul's Judy let's see how many years it will last before the whole nonsense pack up. Na today , it seems you have forgotten their predecessor like Nuella, ini Edo, Stella damascas, Rosy, Oge okoye. Just to mention a few.
You think it's about a woman not doing her best . You all leave holding a man that destroy his home accountable and only blames women.

  7. God help us keep our homes, please. We need to use the word of God to guide it, else it will fall apart and crumble. The funny thing is that some partners forget that the word of God is the guide for marriage, not the society.

    1. Given the way they brought it to the public, you would know it’s consensual, hence anyone thinking of throwing in firewood or charcoal will not have the chance. No amount of bad blood from outsiders will fuel negativity.

In short term, MIND YOUR BIZWAX 😁

  12. I think this marriage thing should be outlawed once and for all. It's becoming quaint and outdated. Creating far more problems than it solves. Now two innocent young kids will have to suffer for a inability of two stupid idiots to grow up.

There's nothing like co-parenting in peace. Divorce scars children in very deep ways and robs them of the fullness and depth of their potential.

  21. Enem won Ms Carnival Queen in 2011 or so. She was and is still beautiful - Emem Undonquak. Next thing, Moses marry am sharp sharp. Stella, my generation want to go big or go home. Beauty queen married movie producer- Gbam Gbam Gbam! ✨✨✨
Are we compatible? We don’t know.
Do we have the similar goals? We don’t know.
Do we have similar mindset? We don’t know.
What are our short and long term plans? We don’t know.
What are our personal and family values? We don’t know.
We know that we are fine people and we go dey alright. We don’t even go for counselling.

5 years later, cracks start to show in the relationship. She wants to build her career, he wants a house wife, she remembers her beauty queen days and wishes she gave herself more time to flex and understand the impact of her choices. He wants to be the father and the husband his father taught him to be. He doesn’t know how to cope with a modern wife. He no even come get money like that and she can see that she would have made money on her own and without him - especially in entertainment.

Everyone would just admit that they should have done it differently. And say their goodbyes. The best thing this generation should do is marry after 30. I know we want to marry as young as our parents did, but we are not emotionally and psychologically equipped for that level of commitment, so soon. I’m in my 30s and there are many single men and women in their 30s. Don’t let anyone deceive you oh! When we decide to get married, everyone know their part and sticks to it. We are mature enough to also see when something isn’t working. Simple.
