    1. If you had truly loved him, you would have encouraged him to learn or correct his mistakes. Not everyone was/is opportune to be educated. Unless you didn't love him at the first instance.

    3. Teejay, come off it...Some are educated and their spoken and written English is a disaster

    4. Is English our first language? There are lots of German that I met who are highly educated but can't speak good English.

    1. A bad one a red flag too.

Smoking addiction is dangerous on one's health.

    1. Were you afraid he was going to bite your lips while kissing you?

Unless the mouth odour is medical related, it can be worked upon if you had really cared..

    2. It is not a woman's job to improve a man. Many men don't take kindly to correction no matter how kindly it is suggested. We are no longer Barbara the builders. Our mothers suffered so we wouldn't have to.

    1. You mean he had two left legs😂😂😂

Sorry I had to laugh. I mean no offence to those who might be on this table.. But if he has a car, I see no big deal with that. Even without a care sef.

I have seen women married to men that limps or even with a leg amputated.

  8. A friend pleaded with me that the cousin had seen my picture and had been dying to meet me.

Honestly, I wasn't interested because I thought if it didn't work out it might ruin our friendship but since I was constantly hassled and coupled with the fact I was single I said, "Let's see how it goes".

The first time we spoke while trying to get to know each other the first thing I heard was, "I am very stubborn, very very stubborn, just thought I should let you know". The relationship has not yet started I don dey receive threats.
    I lost interest straight away.

  10. Pride.

Fine guy, yes. Younger. They are incharge of ICT solutions in our office and we have been interacting. He started showing interest. Just as i was giving him green light, the light never even green complete, guy man started acting like he is doing me a favour. Relaxing and trying to act like it was me who asked him out. He even forced me to take him out to eat fish in Abacha barracks and I paid complete. At the end of the year, I gave him his report card. He failed woefully. He is to repeat the course, but not with me. Pompous rat.

    1. You dated that kind of pompous fellow for one year?
      Waste of a year.
      His age is irrelevant.
There are are even older men who are like tatas.
It's better to be alone than with someone who adds zero value to your life.

  12. His first impression was a huge red flag. He said that he likes his meals freshly prepared by his wife everyday and he eats breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I told him that he doesn't need a wife but a cook.

  19. Instinct. And I was right. He was based in the US. His friend later came to gloat that the guy I rejected don marry and me I dey suffer for Naija. I say no problem. The wife packed out less than a year later. Then he married again. Twice. Both women, different nationalities fled in a matter of months. Their stories were the same and very very bad. My petty self asked the friend if wife number 4 is loading :)
