  7. With our performance in the last three games, the chance of getting past this stage is very slim for Nigeria if we are to play with team like Senegal, but then, our opponent tonight is not any better than us. So I wish Super Eagles all the best with a win over Cameroonian team.

  22. Nigeria won! I've never seen our Eagles be so clinical and compact as they were today. The cameronians shouldn't take the loss too hard. At least they can go back and sell cameronian pepper. I heard that shit really gets it in.

  24. It was a very good game against Cameroon. A strong statement was passed across. We are growing... slow and steady, just like in 2013. We were tactical and disciplined. Switching between 3-4-3 to 5-3-2 and 5-4-1 when required. Great show of sportsmanship I must say!

  25. Nigeria 2: 0 Cameroun

    10 Things.

    1. Our best game since this competition started. Absolutely dominated Cameroun. Outplayed them. Outmuscled them. Outfought them. Outran them.

    2. Osimhen is a star. With this performance he reminds us there's more to his game than goals. The first goal is a prime example of what he offers. He ran down the defender, forcing him to panic, then bulldozed the ball away from him before laying the assist.

    3. From start to finish he was just singlehandedly terrorising the entire Cameroun backline. I pray he doesn't get injured with this him war horse style of play.

    4. I said it few days ago that our defence is what will carry us through this competition. They have been near impenetrable. I mean Cameroun had zero shots on target throughout tonight . ZERO! Ekong is a formidable defender and a leader on the pitch. Bruno needs to take lessons in in-game leadership from him. No be by ranting in the refcs face and collecting needless yellow cards

    5. I am praying Nwabali's injury isn't so bad. We need his towering, commanding and confident presence at the back. The way he twisted his leg as he fell made me wince. I am hoping he will be able to do a Giannis, returning from an hyperextended knee injury to lead the bucks to the finals.

    6. Cameroun are such a dirty side. The back to back clattering with our keeper was very intentional. I wish they had collected more yellow cards early enough, but I have zero issues with the officiating.

    7. Slowly our attack are beginning to find their rhythm. Although their problem remains their inability to deliver the final ball properly. Dem dey always pass give the last man with too much force. Zaidu and Moses Simon are notorious for this.

    8. I'm excited we get to face Angola in the next round. We need revenge for the painful 2006 world cup miss. We need to fill the streets of Launda with tears.

    9. If we win this cup or enter final, this coach no go go anywhere o. And we have world cup qualifiers to play. Omo.

    10. My joy is that the Cameroun keeper that benched Onana is clearly shit too. Cameroun are sending a message to the football world that even among 2 shit keepers, na Onana shit pass.
May God bless Rigobert Song and Eto'o for this disgrace. At least even though that madman in Manchester will keep playing him, he won't be able to do it with clear mind again.
