Enumabia River in Orokam community Benue State,Nigeria Is believed to be a   river that is not normal as it does the opposite of what other rivers do. It’s dry during the raining season and full during dry season

Members of the community also say that to fetch water from the river, you have to dance first before fetching else when the individual gets home his or her leg will be swollen.
Members of the community also worship the river by giving sacrifices to it. According to them a crocodile comes out to receive the sacrifice and most people confirm that they have witnessed it
The river water is very clean and good for drinking and has made sure that the people of the community never suffer from water during the dry season.

  11. Did the natives of this place migrate from Enuani in Delta state cos the name of river sounds like an Enuani name?
Meanwhile, a phenomenon such as this should have been turned into, and projected to the rest of world as tourist attraction/destination. But no, the inability of those in authority to think outside the box will not let them shine. They are simply contented with going to Abuja, cap in hand, to receive monthly allocations accruing from crude oil, a depleting resources.
First thing though, they should tackle the issue of insecurity so as to make the place safe for tourists to visit.
