A Hawai mother Theresa Cachuela, 33, was killed on Friday in front of her 11 year old daughter at a shopping center in Honolulu.
The Killer was her estranged husband who later committed suicide after Killing her.
Theresa and her daughter were heading to the bank when Jason Calchuela, 44, approached them and shot his wife direct in the head
Jason was later found dead behind a residence
Weeks before the shootings, Theresa filed for a temporary restraining order, which was granted, against Jason, court records indicate.
According to the petition, reviewed by PEOPLE, Theresa said Jason threatened suicide while her children were present and later held a knife to his own neck. Following a wellness check, according to the petition, Jason showed up at her home again and hid in the garage.
Court records show that Jason and Theresa agreed to a one-year protection order. As part of the protection order, Jason surrendered his guns.
Theresa was an Instagram influencer who had 20,000 followers and posted frequently about her religious beliefs.

This is why I always believe that when there is a separation due to violence the woman should do everything to move far away, even to a different country if possible. A restraining order is not going to stop anyone whose intention is to cause harm. Once a threat to life has been made there should be no consideration of granting visitation and connection to the children. Now this 11 yr old will be messed up because she witnessed her father shoot her mother to death. She will have that memory for the rest of her life, that is a torture that I would not wish on any child.
