So how do you know there is something else, when you don't believe the one you have been told?. God made man and not robots. He gave man freewill and man to a large extent has misused it. Even after the very wicked deeds of man, it is stated in the Book of Genesis that God regretted creating man because all his thinking were continually evil. Would you have preferred for God to absolutely always force us in our everyday lives to do what he wants? If He does that, then how can one tell who truly Loves Him, from the one that is doing so out of duress or pressure. To repair the relationship between Himself and man is why Jesus Christ was sent. Now look at the Pure message of Love Jesus Christ has come to teach the world, and just imagine if everyone truly abides by that. I make Bold to say that if everyone Loves God and their neighbours the way Jesus Christ asked and Preached for us to do, the world will be in a far better shape and place. Even the situation of hunger will be drastically reduced, if not completely eradicated; because the rich will not be too greedy and will willingly and generously share with those in need here on earth. At this point let us not point accusing or doubting fingers to the Most High God; but let us look inwards, change our ways, embrace the Message of Christ and then we can make the world a far better place.

DeleteDid you carryout the search of the fossils and carbon date them yourself? You just believe hook line and sinker anything 'science' says to you smh. Please know that so many things 'science' has presented aren't facts. Yesterday I saw an article that says scientists have discovered a body of water in outer space that is larger than the whole oceans on earth put together through their telescope. Meanwhile the Bible already told us in the Book Genesis during Creation that God separated the waters in the firmament (above) from the waters on earth. For the ordinary mind, that will be too difficult to comprehend... But now it is proven. Now back to fossils argument, not saying this is the case, but if for instance I invented a method of measuring and instead of me saying 1cm, I call it one thousand cm for the same length, won't others comply with that? Or are you saying something that has been dead for thousands of years can't decompose to the extent those fossils are? Just know that though most of the early scientists were Christians, but you still had the ones that were totally against the Church and will try to do anything to make people feel the Bible isn't legit (though it is very Legit) so people can ignorantly doubt God. Like the one that came with his theory that people evolved from monkeys, meanwhile we now are aware of the association he belonged to that are vehemently against the Almighty. By the way, by now people should have evolved into something else, but the same deception will make them say it takes millions of years to evolve. I can go on about so many things, but it might make the reading here too long. May God open our understanding; in Jesus' Gracious Name. Amen

ReplyDelete@ Dante even fossil fuel (crude oil, natural gas and coal) depicts this world is far older than what's x-rayed in the Bible.
DeleteFossil fuels are by products of dead and processed organisms that had lived millions of years ago.
Heat, pressure ... acted on them and transformed them to fuels we are using today. If you burn wood (which is applying fire: heat) you get charcoal which is quite similar to coal and the processes involved in the making of other fossil fuels.
What am I saying, there is proven evidence that the world has been existing for a l-o-n-g time. The sun itself is billions of years old.
Now what some people don't know is though there is discrepancy between science and religion (as documented in the Holy Books) it points to something else ... and not that the Holy Books especially God is fake.

there is no actual concrete evidence that fossils are millions of years old, all of that is theory by scientists from the 21st century, it is not proven but based on factors that lead them to deduce the earth is millions of years old.... but actually it is theory... these are the same scientists that say humans started as bacteria, became fish, became apes and then became humans... do you accept that one too.... none of these things are based on actual evidence of having seen that... it is all theoretical....

I am happy you agree that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Please believe the Virgin but too, because it was already Prophesied even from the Old Testament. Why would you think that is impossible for God to do. Please Lean on the Understanding of God Almighty and not yours. The Ways, Wisdom and Power of God Almighty, is far more than we can imagine. Hehehehe honestly I like such debates. There seems to be some merit on both sides and I am beginning to think there are more sides. But I don't necessarily think that science and religion are at loggerheads, particularly the Bible. It all boils down to explanations, because alot of what is in the Bible is not understood. They are getting revealed little by little. So yeah I believe the Bible and believe in God. Science has a lot of merit but it keeps on being revised, as more things are being revealed. That thing Dante said about cartoons have also caught my attention, and I have also observed it with some movies. When God wants to reveal Himself to you, He would. But it is more of a heart thing. If you really want to know the truth and you sincerely search for it, you are more likely to find it.

Science is empirical and when there is no superior or more advanced body of knowledge I don't throw away the contemporary.
I don't endorse all ideas and theories in science even at that I wait for updates and superior ideas.
Decades and centuries ago nothing like ultrasound, x-ray machines, microscope, computers ... sending man and machine to the moon and so on.
By extension many incurable diseases of the past are now curable and those that are being managed could be cured tomorrow. Which shows science keeps advancing and evolving.
Above all I believe in God and know that science is real.

ReplyDeleteGood for him. Once you are illuminated, you will understand that religion was created to keep peasants in place. Don't preach against it. We need them to embrace religion to maintain order in the world otherwise it will be total chaos.
ReplyDeleteBelieving in God does not equate to being religious. Almost all of the Aboriginal peoples across the planet always believed in a Great Creator but they had no structured religion as we know it, and where one would say a religion existed it would be animism.
DeleteReligion was not created for the poor, however it was exploited by minds that were focused on money and greed. Christianity has existed in Egypt and Ethiopia for ages, neither of these societies cared about money; once Christianity hit the shores of Europe it became a whole different story, particularly under the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church, it is they who did the worst and used religion as a yoke against the ppl until they had to rebel. They perverted the religion in those days in their quest for gold and land. The Copts and Ethiopians did not go that route and they had access to Christianity long before the Europeans did. It is Europeans who perverted religion and taught others the same through colonialism.
Even scientists know that there is God! Yes the world was millions of years old and satan was in charge and he left his estate; the earth to want ; to overthrow God; to be worshipped like God: he was one of the 4 arch angels! Gabriel, Raphael and Michael remaining as archangels now; it is clear in Jeremiah4:23-27; you will understand clearly. We are living in the end times.

Please be very careful of the workings of the Holy Ghost! Sins against him is not forgiven! I am pentecostal now, but understanding the Trinity is key as a child of God; which I did at that age! God the Father; The Son and the Holy Ghost! Anywhere I go across the world; I identify Catholic churches for intercessory prayers! They have daily masses and ; and are open 24 hours for prayers. Even Pastor Benny ,Pastor Chris and top men of God know the Catholic Church is the mother of all churches; so be very careful as Virgin Mary is honored for her chastity; for The Word became flesh in John 1 and because Mother Mary was Holy; God could use her womb to come into the World to help men from the death path, Adam placed us; that's why Jesus Christ is the 2nd Adam and He is God!
