Singer Portable Insists He Will Perform At Celestial Church Because He Was Paid N5m

Controversial singer Portable, has stated that he must perform at the Celestial Church of God, Goshen Land Cathedral, in Lagos State and added that he was paid N5 million for the performance.

The church was recently under fire for inviting Portable and Fuji singer, Pasuma, to its praise night scheduled to hold on December 15, 2023.
The Shepherd-in-charge of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters, Ketu, Olatosho Oshoffa, condemned the invitation and it seemed Portable and Pasuma were uninvited but Portable insists on performing because the church had already paid him....
Speaking in Yoruba, the singer said, “Celestial church we must do the show o, you have already paid me N5 million. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.
“The children of God are coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God. Don’t judge me by my appearance.”

    2. It’s actually sad. Entertainment is good but taking care of the flock should be the church first priority. How do they feel now hearing these figures🙆🏾‍♀️

  19. Wait, a “church” gave him N5m to perform? Judgement truly must start in the church. “ For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 1Peter4:17

  20. Christians are the biggest purveyors of anti-Christ by action but they blame others who only speak against them as anti-christ

  21. I just pity the sheeple who have been instructed to fast in preparation for the praise night. You can choose to pile your crumbs to give pastor so musicians can have a merry Christmas but must you suffer ulcer for nothing as well?
