Woke up very early today, scrolled through my TL on Facebook, and saw the trending news of the young man, NAFI'U GORONDO, that was stabbed to death by a couple in the Unguwa Uku axis of Kano.

However, I decided to dig further and went to the late man's TL. What I read and watched, is absolutely shocking!
I watched an 11min interview of the boy's father, and he confirmed that Nafi'u confided in him, that he borrowed his friend (the suspect), a huge amount of money. The guy couldn't pay up and kept giving excuses. So clearly, he connived with his wife and killed him, to avoid paying the debt. Meanwhile, the dad also said when he got the call that his son was dead, he rushed from Bauchi to the house in Kano, and met the son already cleaned and covered, ready for burial. What he was told by the couple, is that Nafi'u was ill and died.
The couple thought they were being smart. Na God just make the father remove the cloth, and then he saw all the stab wounds in his son's neck, chest and stomach. Kai! Human beings ooo. 😪. Why would you even think of killing anyone? Why?!? God help us abeg.
May justice prevail in this matter. RIP Nafiu. 💔

Though I wish I could travel by 31st for the new year celebration and wedding of my cousin but then, I really can't say.
It hasn't been this difficult on a Christmas like this and I believe the hike in fuel along side the dwindling economy caused it all.

Another time I was minding my business but the lady who was walking really fast while crying came and sat beside me on an outdoor bench. I did not ask her what was wrong, maybe I stared a little, I can't remember but I did not know why she turned to me and started narrating everything that happened. It turned out she had a quarell with her best friend.
You see, sometimes it could be something serious and other times, it might be a minor quarell with loved ones which would later get resolved. So don't feel bad you did nothing to help, after all your hands were full.
