Saturday In House Gists- Jealous Landlord And Landlady Tales

Everyone has experienced living in a rented house before? The things one sees sometimes is to heavy to gist but today we will focus on jealous landlords and landladies and how they frustrate their tenants who are doing well financially......

Some house owners are so jealous and monitor the progress of their tenants... They turn the ones doing good into enemies and never miss an opportunity to increase rent or stress them and when they cant take it anymore they give quit notice...
I heard a tenant was given quit notice because he bought a new car.....lol
Have you ever been in a situation like this with the owner of the house you live in? Or is this because you got your own home?

I hear some Landlords put charms to steal the destinies of their tenants and as long as you live there, ten naira will never enter your account....
Who has landlord/landldy tales for us on a first hand basis or hear say?
Lets gist!

  4. Plenty houses with faulty (evil) foundation plenty for Lag .
once read a book written by an ogboni convert exposing how to identify such houses through some symbols. Every ogboni Landlord build with their symbol so a fellow can identify and easily welcome to that abode .

  5. The house we were staying before.. That was how people say it was cursed...
That anybody that live there don't progress.. 😂
After our wedding, many people that came visiting were against the house, people even told us that pasts tenants experienced barreness, stagnation, poverty, some fire outbreak.. 😂
My husband told them his case is different oh...when we didn't have kids on time, come and see gossip but God shocked shocking them..
Story changed, we have kids, bought car and move to our own house isn't God a great God?.. Now landlord gave everyone quit notice, they are begging, he drove all the rest tenants out and lock up the building..

    1. Haha.
That's commendable. You guys brazed the hot ends and triumphed.

It'll be nice the tenants find alternative accommodation though. Let them exit.

    2. You guys must have broken something. Why send everybody out when he has gotten a good testimonial from you. Or the tenants there were wicked and were not paying rents but you guys did.
When things are tough, people generally think Landlords should not be paid at all or deserve to be paid last. Yet they expect breakthroughs.

  6. My own wasn't an apartment but a shop. I remember when I started off. I rented a shop somewhere in Kubwa. My shop was at a very good location. As in a very busy area. I stocked it up with various items but my dear people, at some days, not a single person steps into my shop to ask for anything let alone buy something. I started losing sleep oo especially when it was time to renew my rent. I heard stories about how those gbagyi landlords steal peoples destinies. I didn't want to believe it. Spent years in that shop. I was literally working for that man. Couldn't save a dime. I was borrowing to make or meet up.. I just thank God for his intervention.. I left the place and today I give God all the glory. It does happen.

  8. When I was younger, there were a lot of storey buildings owned by Anambra men in my neighborhood, some of the foundations of these buildings were rumored to have been built with fetish objects for various purposes.

I personally witnessed one during one of my holidays in Aba... From 12am till 3:30 am every night, you would be hearing heavy sounds of someone pounding whatever on a mortar and it always emanates from the foundation of the building, this sound always shakes the whole building when it starts.

When the owner died in 2012,the whole tenants vacated the building as they all cited so many accounts of disturbances from the late landlord.

Currently,The building is now home to all sorts of rodents and reptiles. Not even mad men could camp there.

  9. Get schooled on knowing their logos and symbols, you won't miss them as they proudly display them on the buildings or on the floor in the apartments.

Then if you battle cobwebs and ants consistently even after using cartons of Green leaf and Piff Puff insect powder, please RELOCATE.
    Na dem!

    1. True o@ cobwebs...hmmmmm...there was a house we saw when we were house hunting. A tree full of cobwebs was by the side of d house. Thick thick cobwebs full of mature spiders o, I fear no be small. So I whispered to my ex husband that my spirit does not go with the house. And he was already liking the house, because it had two toilets, bathroom water heater & large rooms. And surprisingly cheaper! Naso we stylishly tell the house agent we didn't like the street location. Before we enter wahala of life...

I do my prayers,Wear my Rosary and rub my palm kernel oil and sleep,I have noticed some of the tenants that do called her mummy don't even greet her again, one do sew outside our veranda she has stopped her from using the veranda,if no be condition wetin I for dey for this kind house?when it rains I'm in trouble.

  14. Had several experiences,I once lived in a beautiful spacious self con apartment, beautiful in the day but turbulent at night, I lived with my younger brother who always woke up with deep finger nail marks all round his neck and back, wall geckos full the house even when we used all the remedies to kill or drive them away, the worse was sickness, immediately they pay salary, you will fall sick till the salary finish, you will start borrowing to survive till the next pay check,I ran away from the house.Six months later I got a breakthrough, people I see every day will walk up to me and ask me I I had travelled out of the country that it has been long they haven't seen or heard from me,they have been trying my numbers and it is always switched off even when my lines are always on,my dears the story plenty but evil is real.

  15. The former house we packed out 11 yrs old, before we packed out,the lordland was alive and he died 7 yrs after we packed,he was a traditional man/traditional Dr.
    Very rich with 5 wife's.
When he died, his children rented his office to tenant and very night, this man will be disturbing them to packed out that his office is not for rent and nobody's permitted to live or rent tha particular room.
Na the children tell us ooo, when they came to visit us.
That, their father use to disturb those living in his office to vacate and the tenant vacate immediately without wasting time because he use to give them sleepless night.

    Things are happening.

I heard a story about one house in onitsha then, that nobody lives their till date because small boy are hawking groundnut in the midnight.

    So many scary stories..

  19. Hmm, I remember the house we packed out from. I was pregnant so hubby dis the house hunting and secured it. Very spacious 3 bedroom flat but the first day I went to see it (before we moved in) I felt somehow but could not place it but sid not talk because I and hubby already had issues for the apartment scouting. The one I liked that he paid for, they took our money but did not give us while our rent was due where we were.
So he was under pressure and secured this, so I just did not talk.
When we moved in na anointing oil and prayer.
The first month in the house, landlady show for dream say I get 3 picking (boys) and should give her 1, she even 5old me the one she wanted. I told her that will not happen, she begged, I 5old her not my child. I work up told hubby, we prayed but he was still saying but they are christians, pentecostal and ministers sef.

I kept cool, cobwebs oo, scratches (na hubby them dey scratch).
We had 3 doors into the apartment but mostly use one. I only use the kitchen exit on Saturdays when doing bulk cooking.
So one day I oped the exit from kitchen and saw kernel nearly arranged at the edge. I left it so when hubby came I showed him, he anointed it and threw it away. The following week, Friday night we went for vigil, we came back in the morning the door we usually use same it and the third door. Hubby went to tell him, he said is rat(my mind I said that rat must be a genius that arranged kernel nearly).
There was a night hubby work me up, our rooms was filled with smoke our rooms (the three rooms but did not get to parlor). He went outside (this was 1am) no sign of smoke. He called landlord (he was awake that time) and was explaining that they are burning things in the second street I asked my neighbor at the back close to the next morning but the did not feel anything.

Shortly before our first yr rent expired, he came to borrow money from my husband. My hubby gave him before telling him and I told him this man way no pure(I have been saying it but hubby feels he is aminister). After that, all hubby was doing there is gather money pay rent and start struggling to gather again.
I saw him in dream (after prayers) I greeted him he did not answer..there was a time he brought one picture frame with tiger image and out it directly behind my room window.. it was there for long till hubby went and turn the face to the wall.
I dreamt and was told they put something in the well(that one dey lock and key). I went to 5o pour prayer water inside it.

We eventually pack out Sha.. very fine and spacious house oo

    1. This might be true but more importantly, pray with the landlord or landlady's name before packing in, don't rush and pack in, no matter the pressure. Lived in 3 houses with house owner and only had problems with the diabolic one cos I didn't investigate spiritually before packing in there.
