Two-time Big Brother Naija Star, Doyin, said she expects her man to forgive her for cheating after she has confessed and apologized to him.
She made this revelation during an episode of her podcast "Doyin's Corner"
She said
"I didn't mean to say cheating was sweet but if I open my mouth and tell you that I've done this thing, move on. If I Apologize after cheating on you, let's move on.
When asked how she intends to show remorse for her actions, she said:
"Babe, I am sorry, I met this really nice looking guy. He was a lot finer, nicer, richer than you. So I decided to step out. I was just telling you so that you are aware.It doesn't mean i love the guy more. It just means in that moment, my urges took over me. But now that I am back to my normal senses, I still love you. So, let's make it work".

ReplyDeleteI saw Frank's statement but I can't really blame him, because one thing I have come to know is, that a lot of men do not even know what it means to truly love their wives. Sad as it may seem, their definition of love is shallow and weightless. Else why would a man open his mouth to say, "A man can love you and still cheat on you"?

True love - the kind God demands men have for their wives - a lot of men cannot survive it. When you love someone you place their happiness above yours because when they are happy you are happy. Love is selfless and cheating is selfish and evidence of the absence of love.
Love is a lot of work and even more difficult to obey than the instruction of submission. Case in point, Prophet Hosea and his wife. His marriage was used to pass a message and to reveal God's way of showing his undying love, now imagine God, expecting a man to love his wife like that.
That aside, Doyin's commentary to me, is like watching Zee World. If care isn't taken, it can reduce someone's IQ. I don't know if she says it to be relevant or if she just talks on impulse. To think she says it with so much gusto. Frank's statement does not validate hers. I doubt if both of them even understand what they said.
