The Controversial OAP, who co-hosts the Bahd and Boujee podcast with Reality Tv Star, Tolanibaj, has been in the news of late over diverse controversial comments she made while on air.
She made this statement during a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos hosted by Tacha....
She said:
"The internet in general or let me just say the internet in Nigeria, doesn't seem to like outspoken women.
"As long as you are a woman that is coming out to say this is what what I like, this is what I don't like, the internet doesn't like it".
When asked how she deals with the constant online dragging from Internet users, Moet stated that though she used to getting online criticisms every now and then, the recent constant criticisms are very new to her.
However, She stated that she's not deterred and believes internet trolls aren't necessarily real life people.
In her words:
"I've been in the game for a while, yes you do get a troll here and there, but this constant trolling is very new to me.
"To be honest, I had believed that people who are on the internet are not necessarily real life people or people that matter.
Ok
ReplyDeleteGbam, true talk. They are not important in your life .
ReplyDeleteThere's a difference between being blunt and vocal, and just lacking common sense.
ReplyDelete👍👍👍

DeleteThank you, babe. I was just about writing the same words. Being outspoken shouldn't be compare to being outrightly stupid. She sounded dumb.
DeleteGbam 👌
DeleteAs long as they keep talking in the nonsense, internet children will criticize them
ReplyDeletePeople will be rude or ill mannered and claim they are blunt.
ReplyDeleteIt is not that the internet doesn't like outspoken people, Netizens don't like women who open their mouths waah and be talking rubbish. There’s a difference between being outspoken and talking in the rubbish. There are women who are outspoken on the Web that real men listen to and learn from. And if internet people are not necessarily real life people or people that matter as she claimed, she should close down all her social media accounts, then we'll believe her.

ReplyDeleteNetizens like Aisha Yesufu. They alsoalso Rinu Oduala.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand who pays someone this stupid really. When your post generates so much outrage, it is really not the internet do dragging you. It is that people are shocked by how unimaginably stupid you are to even have such a thought and then going ahead to post it.
ReplyDeleteNigerians dont like men when women are blunt and vocal.
ReplyDeleteYou can be blunt and vocal, it's the stupidity that netizen don't like.
ReplyDeleteNa she sabi!
ReplyDeleteDisregarding whatever she may have said earlier, I however agree with what she said about people not liking outspoken women 💯.
ReplyDeletePeople, especially men, feel threatened and intimidated when they encounter an intelligent, outspoken and confident woman. I guess they feel it challenges their masculinity and will do everything within their power to try to belittle and undermine the lady.
Intelligent outspoken in what area. We have outspoken women doing great things and people love and applaud them. Most ladies now go on the internet to display rubbish behavior and expect you to say they are intelligent. It all depends on how intelligent the listener is sha.
DeleteAnon 14:56, Are you sure you love them, or just that you have not been opportuned to be in their space to troll them?
DeleteYes, Nigerians are not ready for vocal women generally. Doesn’t mean they are not senseless in most of their recent discussions sha.
