In a statement released, the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Akorede Habeeb Lawal says the lawyer has been identified as Ekere S. Ebong.#
In the now trending video, the couple's neighbors were seen confronting the man as he attacked his wounded and n#ked wife at night on their street.
It is not clear what transpired between the couple but the man was heard repeatedly asking his wife to give him the key.
An eyewitness claimed that when neighbors tried sheltering Mr Ebong's wife, he threatened further violence against her if she sleeps outside of the house.
One of the neighbors was also heard saying that the man always beats his wife regularly for the past four years but he beat her so badly that day that they had to stop him.

Unfortunately, it is doubtful if the Association can discipline him over his matrimonial affairs. He was not wearing lawyers' robes or acting in any professional matter during this reported sad or ugly incident.
