Mrs Oluchi Chimobi Agha the mother of the four missing pupils of Great Ambassadors School in Umuahia, on Tuesday broke down in tears while narrating how her children, including a set of twins, disappeared last week, on their way to school.
She explained that she handed over the kids to the tricycle operator at 7:am on Monday, last week, to take them to their school at Nwoegwu, Ohuhu, but regretted that the kids never returned home at their supposed closure hour of 3:pm.
Flanked by her husband, Mr Chimobi Agha, Oluchi begged the local government chairman, the police, other security agencies and all concerned Nigerians to assist the family in rescuing their children alive.
The couple thanked the local government chairman and his officials for developing deep interest in their plight, saying that with the support and prayers of Abians and Nigerians at large, their kids would be found.
The Umuahia North LGA Chairman, Victor Ikeji, who visited the family of the missing children, assured the couple that his Council was doing everything in collaboration with the police and other security agencies in the State to rescue their children.
Accompanied by the Divisional Police Officer of Ohuhu Police division, Mr Jack Robin and other officials, the Umuahia North Mayor urged various security agencies in the State to do everything to rescue the children, even as he said that Governor Alex Otti had been informed about the unfortunate incident.
He further warned criminals operating in Umuahia North to turn a new leaf or face the music.
Oluchi, who made the narration while receiving Victor Ikeji, the Chairman of Umuahia North LGA, at the family’s residence in Umuagu Ibeku, said life had not been the same for her and her husband since their innocent kids were taken away to unknown destination by a tricycle operator, popularly known as Keke NAPEP.

Are you a human being?
DeleteThis is so sad, but leaving the kids in the hands of tricycle driver to take to school is a big risk I'm not ready to take, even if the driver is my relative. I pray they're found alive.
ReplyDeleteShe must have been doing it, since it’s a small community… I’m sure she’s not the only mom who does that

ReplyDeleteWhat was so important that a parent can't find time to take his or her kid to school? What was so important that a parent can be non plussed regarding picking a child from school? Four children! For crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteWhy should you entrust someone to take your kids to and from school? I see that a lot in Abuja suburbs. Okada and Keke engaged to be carrying kids to school. The one that happened in Makurdi last year, uptil date no one knows what happened to those kids and yes they were kids from the same family and it was a keke man as well.
Let God come through for the kids.
This is scary and heartbreaking. Please Sweet Holy Spirit, prick the hearts of those who took the children, let them be returned to their parents.
ReplyDeleteAmen
DeleteLord please let them be found 🙏🙏🙏🙏
ReplyDeleteOh Lord. Please intervene. Please let those children be found alive and in one piece.. I can only imagine what their parents must be going through now. I don't like hearing this like this. This just broke my heart.

When my son was 3 years old i had a taxi driver drop and pick him. I gave my son one small phone when he gets to school he calls me that he is safe. Later my mind could not carry it . I decided to always go with him from school and to pick him up. I pray they find those kids!!! This is heartbreaking💔💔
ReplyDelete3 years????
DeleteOmo you get mind o.
Even 13 years, I still drop them and pick them. Or their father does.
We have given the school strict instructions, if neither of us pick them or drop them, NOBODY should. Let the child stay inside that school till we come.
So, the keke man's house nko? His relatives etc?
Exactly my thought. The keke man’s house and any of his relatives. You don’t give your kids out like that, not even one child a whole 4. That’s whole lot cus her world has crumbled. May almighty God bring those kids back alive, amen
DeletePlease God help this woman find her kids. Please mums and Dads let's a take out a little time to take our kids to school.
ReplyDeleteI know it's not easy but it's worth it
Last night this couple's thought came to my mind,I had them in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what they're going through, even sleep will be far from them😪
God please intervene in this situation, may these children return back in one piece in Jesus name.
Oh Lord!! pls help this woman, wipe her tears Father, This so too much 😭

ReplyDeleteDrink poison for what? Don’t say that please
ReplyDeleteShe is not a single mother, you have a husband at home.
ReplyDeleteMake una no dey take such risk ooo.
Take your children to school by yourself, pick them up by yourself or leave them at home.
It really is that simple.
Even if you have a driver, let you house help ( the one you know everything about and not the one you pick for street) follow them in the car or you go by yourself.
To replace kids no be easy something.
My heart goes out to this lady, my prayers are with you.
God please locate her children.
Abductors, you will never have peace in this life and the next.
I pray this kids are all found. I believe the family would have been contacted to pay ransom if they were just kidnapped.
ReplyDeleteit isn't just a case of kidnapping but the kids have been trafficked.
May the children be all found alive in Jesus name.
So sad.
ReplyDeleteYou don’t drop kids to strangers like that, you don’t know The keke man’s house or any of his relatives. You don’t give your kids out like that, not even one child a whole 4. That’s whole lot cus her world has crumbled. May almighty God bring those kids back alive, amen
ReplyDeleteOh God please intervene and come through for the kids.
ReplyDeleteSit down and observe Nigerian parents. You will see how careless some of them are with their kids.
ReplyDeleteI pray they are found alive and well
ReplyDeleteThis is too much
I pray those children are found alive and healthy very soon 🙏
ReplyDeleteMay God come through for this family. If this is is very hard for me to handle, what about the parents of this children.
ReplyDeleteWe can Pray, God answers but let’s petition/tag the relevant authorities to start working! Where is DSS and the police! If a child is kidnapped by even one parent here, not to talk of actual kidnappers, they send out Amber Alerts with description of details how much more Four children😳
ReplyDeleteI love Naija vibes but the disrespect and disregard for life by both government and citizens resulting in not preventing, solving crimes or punishing it is what drove us out decades ago! We lost some friends to armed robbers in Lagos, only the one who was a pilot to a former president got some form of justice! And it took the intervention of that former president. Why? Everyone is important and even the state governor, DSS, all security agencies must find these children. God ordained good governance in the Bible. In Deuteronomy most of the quarantine and public health policies used in the west here are detailed there. How to dispose dead animals and not eat them, quarantine etc are all in the book written centuries ago! Why is Nigeria like a healthy child that refuses to grow but eats every food in the house?
May God bring the children and Keke driver back safely.🙏🏾
DeleteCould it be a case of an accident besides the general assumption that is is kidnapping/human trafficking ?
Anon 17:57 Nigerians have a hard lesson to learn.
God will not come down to the earth to do for Nigerians what He has given man the authority to do - subdue and have dominion over everything.
God didn't do it for America or Sweden.
They did it by themselves for themselves.
This is so sad
