I branched at Total to drop Christmas stuff for two muslim guys that have been reminding me of Christmas o.
I ate rice and stew with Nigeria's foremost chicken meat before going out earlier today.
Now that I am back, I am munching on minimie chin chin to be washed down with chilled coca-cola drink.

ReplyDeleteYesterday, I decided to sweep the backyard, a lot of pear leaves have covered everywhere, the leaves are so many because there are two pear trees there. I gathered the leaves in heaps to enable me carry them away to where I would burn them. After gathering the third heap, I swept the leaves and saw what looked like a dusty snakeskin, brownish with black triangular patterns, it was coiled in an oblong shape and flattish, no head or tail, I wanted to use the broom to turn it over, but 'Someone' restrained me, what if it was an actual snake sleeping. I dropped the broom and ran across to call my neighbour, but he wasn't around. So I came back to continue sweeping, only to find that it was not just a snakeskin but an actual snake! Omo, I saw the trail of the snake as it was slithering away. I ran inside, shivering. That's the end of the sweeping, I called my mom who has travelled and narrated everything to her, she was trying to assure that it was nothing that the snake was long gone, having realized that its covering has been removed, that it has been quiet around that's why it took shelter under the leaves. I wasn't hearing any of that, I sweep not again. Nehi! Mba! A'a! Heiye! Madam, come back and sweep your house. AHH!! What if I had used the broom to turn it over, and it woke up!!! Tufiakwa!!! Jesu, akhuemelen O!!!
