  11. My people
I didn't know that I'm not supposed to wear aso-ebi before the day of the event, this is a new one to me.
A customer gave me her daughter's wedding aso ebi two weeks ago, Ankara material. Being a tailor, I sewed it and wore it this morning, party is holding next weekend in another State and I won't be attending..
On my way back from work this evening, two women called me aside and asked if it was madam ABC's cloth that I had on, I said yes, they said it was improper for me to wear mine when the party had not been held yet. They said it was a taboo. I quickly apologized and told them that I didn't know it was not right, that I am hearing it for the first time. I told them that I will not wear it again until after the party. I know they will tell the woman, I wonder how she will react when she sees me. Nawah!

    3. Those women are not serious, it is not a taboo. It is just because they have not wore their own, they want you to keep yours as a mark of respect for others.
Aso ebi ankara can be bought by anyone in the market except on (rare occasions where it is specially customized with pictures or logos) other people may have even used it as aso ebi in the past and their own may have turned to rags sef.
So if they see an okada rider wearing it, they will accost him? Radarada.

      Delete
    4. Na wan for you sef

Why you go rock cloth when party never start shaaa 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

    5. I think, wearing it after, the event is the right thing to do,not before.

      Delete
    6. It is not a taboo, don't mind those women. But it would have been better to wear it on the day of or after the event, that's the right thing.

      Delete
    7. It's not a taboo but wearing after the party is the right thing to do.

    8. Asoebi was given to you to mark an event.
      Event is yet to hold.
You quickly went to sew and wear yours.
      You are not attending event.
      Event has not held.
Can you see where common sense is critically missing?

  26. A friend of mine, moslem is going through a lot in her marriage. It is so bad that the husband flaunts it. The man is cheating with a Christian girl. What guy man does not know is that her snooping skill is on point and real time. She is gently planning her exit but I have advised her to hold on a little bit longer since there is no physical DV.

This evening news went round that 2 kids below 7years were kidnapped around my location. Parents, be careful with your kids during this period and afterwards.

    1. I pray the man change but the risk there is advising someone like that , if anything happen she will always said you re the one that told her to hold on.

Let her make her own decisions some people can't stand cheating ,maybe she wants to leave for her own sanity

Last two weeks ago, someone very close to me was kidnapped and released after collecting some money.
Two days ago again,a man and his wife were kidnapped and they left their child in the car.
