Court Denies IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu Bail + Says He Must Explain Why He Jumped Bail Years Back

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has denied granting bail to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) .

The court condemned the Nigerian government’s forcible repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya but it declined to grant him bail pending the determination of the treasonable felony charge the Federal Government of Nigeria preferred against him . The court held that Kanu must explain the reason he breached the previous bail that was given to him before he could enjoy another favourable discretion from the court. .

He should rot in there for all I care
If you can be treasonable then you should be able to face trial too

  3. I knew that the fact he jumped bail in the past will jeopardize his chances of being granted another bail. Whoever adviced him to that, didn't think it through

  5. Nnamdi Kanu says he was made to run for his life (and thereby jump bail) by the Army invasion of his village, maybe.
But his recorded utterances after he returned to the UK were very treasonable.
Hear all what he was urging the mob to do live on Biafra radio during the #EndSars protests, was destroying properties of the Lagos government part of the Biafran struggle?

  6. He was busy giving directive to endsars protester what to destroy in Lagos, not Anambra where the SARS are even worse and deadly. And now he wants freedom, terrorist wants freedom? To do what with the freedom?
