The business ceo who went live on Facebook in the early hours of Tuesday December 12,2023 revealed he wanted to unlife himself after he lost N2.5 million to a betting company..
Friends reportedly found him writhing in pains when they immediately reached out to him after the Facebook post but he gave up the ghost on the way to hospital.
He is survived by his aged mum, whom he always wrote about on Facebook.
This is really sad 😭

DeleteI gambled on many websites and lost so much money.
I was depressed and shattered.
I disconnected my accounts, got off my ass and went looking for work.
Slowly and gradually I started making small change.
I reduced my expenses and saved more.
Today what happen many years ago is just a story to tell.
It is not the devil or government.
It is the person who is lazy and greedy.

ReplyDeleteCuring gambling addiction is very difficult. Everything related to gambling stimulates so many sensory pathways. Gambling hook ppl by always making it seem like they were close to a win, and actually allowing them to win small do they feel they can win big. Many ppl do not give it the level of seriousness as other addictions because it does not involve any perceived deviance, worst, gambling is portrayed as entertainment.

He could have helped others to break the cycle of gambling and encourage young ppl to not go down that path. Who knows how many ppl he could have helped if he hadn’t took such drastic action.
