The store owner replied, "Anywhere from $30 to $50." The little boy reached in his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have $2.37," he said. "Can I please look at them?"
The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur. One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?"
The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame. The little boy became excited. "That is the little puppy that I want to buy."
The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."
The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you $2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for."
The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies."
To this, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!"

When a person is tired let's say an athletes, how does he or she recharges and keep wrestling, proper training before he/she begins and finally there are various short warm up exercises and energy boosters to help out. This is the same in Christian race, when you refuse to train your mind to go for the end goal, you end up giving up before you even start. While at it, how willingly are you to keep sharpening and charging your soul through reading the bible, worshiping God, listening to messages from men of God.
Interacting with God and meditating in his world. By so doing you are automatically connecting your soul to be refilled by the ever present energy in the spiritual realm, to carry you for a time being.
When ever you stop engaging, you disengage automatically, your zeal and passion goes down and before you know it, you find yourself relapsing back to wordly tunes which will destroy you.
Yoy don't know whom you serve as a Christian, because if you do, you will yearn for more of him. This God is wonderful, never ever loose your connection to God. It's ok for it to be low, or shaky for a little while, but strive to make it strong, because the devil is fighting hard to cut it off. Do not let him.
Paul has admonished us in 2tim 2:1 to be strong in the grace that is in christ Jesus.
Everyone on earth who's goal is to win this race needs this grace to succeed.
Without it, you will struggle, you might have all the money in this world, and struggle for peace of mind, sleep etc. But in Christ Jesus all these things are the least things we gain.
While you are still here on earth, solidfy your foundation in Christ. Make it a goal to win, when you fall dust out your failures off thy shoulder and keep moving till you reach your goal.
Are you still finding it hard to be strong in Christ, ask the holyspirit for help. He will breath upon you, and the desires to do Godly things will gradually overtake you.
Are you struggling to come out of the shackles of witchcraft, occult and satanic practices, Jesus is the way, give your life to him, and call upon him, he will answer you.

Some children have codedly dropped out of school with the parents giving excuses to why they're not in school during school hours.

Bv Faithful also, I agree with you that it doesn't reduce a persons age if they choose to respect people, both young and old. You said in Yoruba land, "EVERYONE address EVERYONE" as ma. I am glad you said "EVERYONE". That means that, no set of persons has the monopoly to enjoy the titles "MA or AUNTY" I as a slim person of 36years old can't even ask a 34years old person who looks more mature than me to put the title "MA or AUNTY" on my name except they decide to do that to impress guys around so the guys would know that I am older than them.
Many times we the slim people sit with younger people who looks bigger than us and some persons would come and greet the big looking ones and ignore us and we never complained. We never picked offence but now, that's not enough for the society people. They now want to compel we the slim people to address people with the big stature who are even younger than us with those respectful prefixes of Ma, Aunty, Madam, Mrs , Brother, etc but it will be difficult for them to return the favor except we are wealthy and they need financial favour from us .

The second part almost played out in my compound last night. A neighbor shouted JESUS IGWEE and released gunshots. Not sure if it's real gunshots or good knockouts . Everyone rushed out. The man was rolling on the floor shouting JESUS! JESUS!. His wife has just given birth to twins. A boy and a girl. They have been waiting not sure of how long but God heard them. Neighbors took over from him. One dragged out his loud speaker and started blasting music. The man was dancing like a drunkard Everyone joined in the dance. They turned it to dancing competition🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I cannot dance to save my life😴. Drinks where flying up and down from no where. One woman went and made specie indomie for us. Oh my father. The joy was overboard. We stayed outside till midnight. 5am another neighbor dragged out his loud speaker and started again🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. What a mighty God we serve. Still in celebration mood💃💃💃💃May everything we ask from God never pass us by in Jesus name amen.

DeleteOyibo do this one o. I just discovered that I can do without talking to hubby for a whole day but I can't do without pressing my phone for half a day, if my Android phone goes off, my touchlight phone would still be active for calls and text messages.
ReplyDeleteI and hubby are fighting since yesterday, we didn't talk throughout yesterday and I didn't bother. I was watching movies on my phone during my free time. This morning, he talked to me, asking for where I kept some of his boxers that I washed, after that, he tried to gossip about one of his coworkers, I told him we are fighting, he should not gist with me 🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣. Fight don finish.
Meanwhile, Android phone battery is the best. With my Tecno battery, you can watch movies for 12 hours straight. A feat that iPhone and Samsung users can never achieve without plugging it into a power source.
Pls you guys should try not to form a habit of not talking for a lengthy period of time. It has its side effects pls.
